The fan base shouldn't settle for anything else. Hit up radio and social media and push.

Everyone has a price. Especially Hendrickson that will be a free agent and is not sticking around in Cincinnatti and be a perennial loser.

Give up the picks @49ers!

The fanbase shouldn't settle for anyone else? This is kinda dumb to say. The Bengals aren't even known to trade players and are considered very stingy. And not everyone has a price. Hendrickson may have one but a high price for a 11 game rental is not what the majority of the fanabase wants except maybe you and 3 other people.

So yes we will settle for else.

Blah blah blah

He's the best out there and the Bengals even with Flacco will fall. Even the Bengals aren't stupid enough to think he'll resign with them lol. As great as Burrow is, he's always hurt. Season enders for them! It'll get worse before it ever gets better with his and Chase's contracts.

EVERYONE has a price. Dangle the picks @49ers

Why not trade for Myles Garrett then?
lol because #1 I doubt they trade him, is he even on the block. He's their star. In Cinci it's Burrow/Chase. #2 Garrett is a multiple 1s type of guy. Geez

Lol

You guys laugh but I actually wouldn't mind trading a 2nd and change for Hendrickson (or Simmons I suppose). Just don't trade our 1st. In my mind, we need that 1st to draft Trent Williams' replacement and then the draft is a crap shoot after that.
👆🏾 This!

And, that should be a late 2nd

Not sure in what fantasy world you guys live in where you think you can get him for 4th and a 2nd

I don't see a 4th anywhere in those posts?
The Titans just declared Arden Key as inactive this Sunday. Yeah he'll be back to us next week.

You'll have to stud Edge or can trade one.

Win, win!

Why would the Bengals trade him for a 2nd? If they keep him and let him walk in free agency they'll get a 3rd next year as a compensatory pick.

Every contender in the league would probably trade for Hendrickson right now if all it took was a 2nd round pick.

Hendrickson wants to be the top paid Edge in the NFL. We simply can't afford that.

Pick #64 in 2026 is worth a lot more than pick #100 in 2027

lol talk about dumb. Everyone CAN want a 1 for their player(s) up until multiple teams call and offer less in reality.

No one is giving up a 1, everything I've seen from the those reporting and analyzing are saying 2nd and beyond.

The issue with Hendrickson is that the 49ers would be trading for him as a 1 year rental with little (no) cap space to sign him to an extension. This means what the 49ers are willing to offer should be substantially less than a team that wants to acquire Hendrickson and sign him to an extension. For CIN, they'd just take the best offer they can get and that means it won't be coming from the 49ers. I am assuming there's a team that wants to trade for and extend him, perhaps no team views him that way since they could also just wait until he's a free agent.

The Phins are out of it. They have serious cap issues in 2026 and need to fix it without blowing their 2027.

They're headed for a rebuild/reset and have a crap situation with Tua's contract. The only way out is to shed base salaries and add picks.

Chubb has 38m in non-guaranteed base salary in 2026 and 2027. It would free up all that cap for them over those 2 years.

What we'd owe him this year would only be about 2.4m in base salary and per game roster bonuses.

The Deebo trade is a good comp. 5th rounder.

The only reason I'm down for that is it should cost next to nothing. His pressure rate has been pretty bad, I'd much rather have Phillips.

Sure, anyone would want Phillips. But, Phillips doesn't have near the same situation for their team. Phillips is someone you want yo be part of your future core and would require a LOT more to get. Chubb is someone that doesnt play into their future plans, would relieve their cap and net them a draft pick. Cost/benefit ratio for Chubb is much higher.

It's much more likely the Phins trade a 29 year old with an expensive contract than a 25 year old they want to sign to an extension.

It'll be weird for them to go to T. Williams and ask how he feels for 2026.

He doesn't seem like the pennies & cents type of guy to keep getting beat up. So, I have a feeling he might be calling it quits soon.

You literally want to do all of it

I agree, as far as a realistic one yr rental goes he fits the bill. Not expensive for SF and I can't imagine the trade compensation would be much different than Huff imo.

I just don't I think he's particularly that good anymore… If they get him dirt cheap, it's not a bad move. We got folks in here wanting to give up 2nd re picks for a rental guys and I'm not all about that. If we go that route I want a younger guy that's part of their long term plans

What the hell are you talking about?!

What is this "massive" deal? For a 30 year old.

What is this can't miss premium player 50 picks in?

What we do know is that a 50+ picks in gets you a starting NFL caliber Edge in Hendrickson. Which are at a premium. Geez
