I've been preaching for a couple weeks that Trey Hendrickson and Danielle Hunter are the only players who can save our Super Bowl chances.
While I don't think he would be enough ultimately, Bradley Chubb would be my third choice.

Idk about "only" but they'd be nice additions. I imagine they'd mainly be one year rentals, so we would be going for it all. Which is kind of what I'm expecting if we are to make a splash - similar to what the Rams did with Von Miller.
I'm honestly okay with some one year rentals, as long as the price isn't too steep.
Idk what will happen but hopefully we get 2 solid pieces to add to our d line by the trade deadline, we really need it. Playing the bucs is going to be rough with nearly 0 pass rush. We actually have a solid secondary, but they can't cover for ever. if we can get some pass rush - this can be a really awesome defense.

Damn I think they could win today with that group.
Good memories Catch! Nice just seeing those names again, even if no SB.

Meh, I'm tired of tossing away meaningful draft picks for guys to play like 9 games for us.
got no problem with Hendrickson or Chubb as players (though I do think Chubb isn't what he was and some of his "stats" are unblocked and in garbage time now). Chubb would have to rework a deal and we'd have two EDGE that have been through two ACLs next yr.
I would prefer to give up "meaningful" draft compensation for a younger guy that's in their plans beyond this season. SF would basically be using that draft pick now on a position they probably go after anyway in this upcoming draft.

The only realistically available player who really fits what you're saying is Thibo tbh but he's more of another Huff, not a reasonable Bosa replacement. If we trade for him I get it but my faith in Huff and Thibo getting it done in the playoffs is minimal lol

Thibo isn't a Bosa replacement, no doubt. They aren't finding that via a trade regardless imo (yes Trey is the closest thing).
Thibo isn't a DPR like Huff is either, not sure why you're tossing that out there? I'd saying Abdul Carter is more like Huff in NY at this point. Thibo is a solid run defender. I think he could be had for less, is younger and in the long-term plans. I feel like he's a good fit for this scheme.
My first move would be to try and land Simmons, he's the closest thing to Chris Jones, he would eat in this scheme. Total game changer

Yeah that article kinda backed up why I wouldn't want him, outside of it probably being super cheap. Phillips has looked much better and is younger.

Doesn't seem very doable if you look at his contract. We'd pretty much be forced to trade him after this season for a lot less.
Yeah, I don't see this happening anytime soon.

Without that we would have probably went to the Super Bowl.

Isnt Huff a d-linemen?
Oh, yeah, 1 sack!
Yayyyyyyyyyyyy!
If i remember he was unblocked too
What are we talking about?
Bryce Huff quickly gets to Stafford for the sack to force a 3rd and long 💪

The "get off" is the most important part of pass rush! #49ers #FTTB pic.twitter.com/XgEbyMtrsk
huff won us a game
The comment is that the D-line has been standard and has had very little pressure SINCE Bosa got hurt.
Someone said there is 1 sack coming from Huff during the Rams game.
Bosa got hurt after the Saints game, during the Cardinals game.
The point is that if that is happening the D-line needs help opposite of Huff to try to replace Bosa's impact.
Sacks are not an accurate reflection of pressure. You can't lean on that stat to measure the teams ability to generate pressure.
Yes, and both can be true.

I've been hearing more and more about Jeffery Simmons from Carolina.
Not a DE but considered an absolute monster DT who could play some DE.
26 years old, under contract for 2 more years, 6 M next year.
Could be a sneeky pick-up.

Question for the comparison experts:
Which players on the current starting roster, including the injured, are at least as good or better than his counterpart on Catch's '97 list there?
