John Lynch - 49ers GM

We need to figure out some sort of trade for the d line. If we keep up trying to compete with no pass rush, it's not going to work out well.

Everything else can kinda work itself out if we just get healthy, big if lol, but what can't heal itself with health this year is the pass rush. Our whole system of pressure went through bosa. without him, it's not good at all.

I'm still hopeful we make a big trade to the bengals for Hendrickson. I dont think it's likely but I'd love to see it happen.

what we will probably do is trade 7ths with some random team for a guy not playing and hope that fixes our issues. lol

I'm pretty sure the Bengals biggest need is QB. So if a trade were to happen, have to imagine it would involve Mac Jones.

OBJ ? Isn't he still asleep on a plane somewhere. He's done. Robinson looked good in his limited reps to me. He needs more play.

I have a hard time believing that the Bengals would ask for Mac Jones in a trade, and I don't see a Hendrickson deal happening, as there's no way the 49ers will want to pay him what he wants in 2026, and if it does happen it won't happen until the deadline, I don't see the Bengals giving up on their season right now.

Oh how I love that I can't see 9moon's posts anymore, except in replies, like really OBJ? Dude is toast, Robinson looked good in his limited snaps, Bourne needs to make the catches, same for Jennings, also not sure the Raiders are going to trade Mayer just because they have Brock Bowers, I'm not sure where he comes up with these trade ideas, and a new HC? C'mon, that ain't happening, I'm sure he'd love PJ Fleck though LMAO.

OBJ was becoming a SUPERSTAR until the magical catch he made... he's now left with nothing but memories of what HE COULD HAVE BEEN... so it will be a good time to sign him because he's better than both Bourne and Robinson... he's no longer the player he once was, but he's got something to prove..

If there is one thing lunch is consistent at its drafting scrubs high on the DL.

Not defending Lynch but I do have a question. Is what we are seeing this year a result of Jed York cutting back financially on this team? Does having limits placed on you financially impact who you can go after in free agency and/or retain? The issue for me is we are retaining older players, past their prime that are fan favorites and not replacing them with core players that can develop into outstanding or elite players. The truth is we have no depth and that IS Lynch's fault. Not seeing what is needed and seeking players to replace the aging players. We also are not building up the trenches and that to me is where you win games. Anyway, there just doens't seem to be the same financial investment in this team. Is it Lynch or is it Jed York or a combination? Thoughts?
