I remember when we all orgasmed to Iupati and AD in the first round back in the day. It was one of those drafts where the zone consensus matched reality.

2006 VD +Lawson & 2007 P-Willy were also anomalies in this regard. Crabs in 2009. Bosa in 2019 doesnt count.

What an absolute mess. Need to rebuild the whole team. We have an older, injured, hospital ward team. In addition to under performing guys. Which says he missed a lot. Trading 3 first rounders for Lance got us into this mess. We were supposed to be building up the lines. Instead they are old, injured and under performing. He's responsible along with Shany for a lot of this. Plus has a daunting task ahead of him. What to make of it all? I don't know. Is he even the right guy to rebuild this? This years draft looks good. Last year has Pearsall and Winters. Some positive signs lately. But miss after miss and traded away picks and busts prior to that in large part.

I get we need to fix the D line, but I still would have went with Warren. He would have helped this injured offense a lot. And could have made a healthy offense dynamic.

Harbs believes in strong Olines. ShannyLynch don't.

Iupati and Davis were drafted in 2010, the year before Harbaugh arrived. I don't think the 49ers spent higher than a single 3rd round pick on any OL during his tenure here IIRC.

He also didn't have control* over personnel. You might remember it kind of became an issue, lol.

He did draft a tackle with the #5 overall pick with the Chargers last year. Believe he drafted one other OL player late in the draft this year.

You are correct. The Lance miss really hurt, but we aliso found a good QB who can win. We had 3 pretty brutal drafts in a row, now it looks like we have had 2 very good drafts in a row, but they have ignored the o line as usual. They invest $50mill+ into this guy then roll out the same and even s**ttier o-line than last year lol

Now that we have a QB pretty much every year they should spend high picks on o-line and pass rushers to increase the odds of hitting on one.

Probably so but he posted some cryptic stuff on his own account yesterday about not being listened to and not being used. He's unhappy. Imagine that a WR unhappy because he's not getting the ball. The bad thing is the Eagles are winning. Dude needs to stfu and get in line with the winning formula.

Huge red flag.

Harbs believes in losing a Super Bowl and taking his ball and going home. ShannyLynch don't.

1 loss got this dude questioning everything. LOL

What do you think they were doing when they drafted all those D linemen this year? Let's at ;east give them a chance to learn and develop. Williams has played pretty well. Collins not so much yert but he's got great size so maybe he just needs a little more time. West has been hurt.

Fans want everything fixed in every draft. Completely unrealistic. You can't address evereyt need in one draft. Not when the D line needed a total rebuild except for Bosa. Not when the O line needs a top tier replacemewnt for Williams and an upgrade at center and one guard position.

Yeah I agree with that. We had a lot of bad drafts in a row. But he 2024 class with Pearsall and Winters looks good. 2025 looks excellent with Williams, Sigle, Stout, Colby and even Nick Martin I think has a future. Looks like they finally hit 2 years in a row. Which is about a miracle for this team. Now they need to invest heavy in offensive line. 2026 and 2027 they just have to force the issue. Plus we need DE again as Bosa is now triple ACL and will be 29 next October. We can't count on him long term anymore. Sadly so.
