2024 - Ricky Pearsall
2025 - Mykel Williams

They honestly both look good to me. It's early and the book is not written on either yet. Where the Eagles hit. I expect us to miss high draft picks. I am actually astonished. I think they are slightly learning how to draft high picks. If that changes it changes everything. Because while they can be useless early in the draft. They actually hit mid - late rounds higher than expected. Particularly 3rd, 5th, 7th.

Right after Adam Peters' departure. I'm just sayin'...

But Lynch must be feeling real good now with his last two drafts. He came into this year's draft with a s**t ton of pressure after free agency and needed to absolutely smash this draft. So far, it looks like he did it.

I honestly think this draft is his best in years. Not sure about Peters or the correlation. But maybe there is something there. Mykel looks like a total beast. Collins I think will come around. CJ West is just too good of an athlete. Really explosive and fast. I think he will have an impact. Martin looks good from what we have seen so far. Upton Stout looks pretty good albeit small. Sigle looks great and like a steal IMO. This is the best draft class in years. In addition Pearsall from last year is trending way up. Too early on all of them. Unlike some of the lost Lance years where you want to cry this looks really good.

Don't forget Conner Colby (7th round).

Yeah that's right. He looks great. One of the best and we need it. Especially there on the offensive line. Him and Puni can be dominant for the future.

THIS may be the draft to remember.. lets see if it can match the legendary 86 draft..

but for now, LYNCH must trade for Michael Mayer cause Skittles may nearing towards DOWNHILL.

This looks like his best draft in years and years. I was starting to lose faith in him. This one may restore it some. Still has been a lot of failure over the years. Especially Lance was a disaster. CMC is great but injured a lot. We gave up a lot for him too. Lots of misses in the draft too. Over the years.

Our depth was decimated by majority bad drafting between '20 and '23 which dramatically impacted how the 2024 season went.

The '24 and '25 draft classes have both been great. I look forward to more great drafting in '26 and beyond, where depth will be shored up.

In short, the Brick by Brick Brothers have only earned a solid C when it comes to drafting.

Things we needed to fix in the offseason
1/ defense = fixed
2/ special teams = fixed
3/ backup QB = fixed

we're good again!
we should trade for WADDLE

Drafted more Pro Bowlers/all pros than all but a few teams I'd wager.

Pro Bowlers NO LONGER VALID... Even our mediocre Eric Reid made the Pro Bowl as a rookie..

Imagine drafting 3 All Pros and only getting a C
Need to see how this season goes in terms of rookie development, but if things continue at this current pace, the last two drafts basically netted us 8 key starters:
WR (Pearsall)
2 CB's (Green and Stout)
2 S's (Mustapha and Sigel)
2 OG's (Puni and Colby)
DE (Williams)

And the oldest one is Puni, who was born in February 2000.

This is assuming neither Collins nor West pan out and Martin essentially gets pushed out by Winters (who was probably our best pick from that abysmal 2023 draft—yes he's better than Brown lol I expect both of our new S's to replace him).

Again, gotta wait, and I'm trying to give us some leeway by calling Collins/West/Martin/all other late picks complete question marks, but if the list above holds true then that's a really critical pair of back-to-back drafts that we desperately needed.

I think at least 2 of Collins/West/Martin will get some starts in the next 2 years, it not become day 1 starters.

Also Moss is a rookie who made the roster and could get some starts this year with some injury (like Colby). The same can be said for James, Watkins, Guerendo, Bethune, Cowing, Robinson, Canteen, even Anderson. And Rourke could be the backup QB next year when Mac is traded for a 2nd round pick :)

49ers don't need WR's or really any position right now. The back ups are solid.

I'd add Alfred Collins & C.J. West as starters from this draft class, the last 3 drafts(2023 was awful) has brought a good number of long term starters, this should be what the roster/starters look for 2025 & hopefully 2026.

QB2: 10 Mac Jones(2026)/4 Kurtis Rourke(2028)

WR4: 5 Demarcus Robinson(2026)
TE1: 85 George Kittle(2029)

LG: 75 Connor Colby(2028)
RG: 77 Domnick Puni(2027)
LT: 71 Trent Williams(2026)*
RT: 68 Colton McKivitz(2028)

** means the player is a UFA or RFA after 2025

So for FAs, the main UFAs after 2025 are Robinson, Jennings, Moore, Gross-Matos, Givens, Morstead, Weeks, & GIfford, while Willis, Tonges, & Davis will be RFAs, the rest are signed thru or past 2026.

Dre Greenlaw lands on IR…… We all knew this would happen though. Kudos to Lynch for making the right decision on Dre & Huff.
