Yeah, why are they willing to give up draft picks? I don't understand.

Ask yourself why is Cooper even available right now? Its either because he's asking too much $$$ or he's washed and teams know it. If you ask me it's probably a combination of both. He did squat last year with Josh Allen as his QB.
WR is not the biggest need on this team. Have they seen our offensive line? Sometimes I don't understand this regime at all. They just don't make sense.

Our top 3 receivers come week 1 will be Pearsall, Cowing, and Gage Jr

There is no "just" about it. First you don't know that Cooper is on the market. Second you don't know what his demands are.

What draft picks?

He also may not be available. He can have an agreement in place with a team and is just waiting for camp to end to put pen to paper.

Who is on the market on OL that is a clear day 1 upgrade AND has a multi-year future with the team at a low price?

At this point, barring injury *cough cough* or a significant cut by another team, I think this is the line for this year.

This is a pretty awful line. Should Trent Williams go down for a few games. Which he usually does. You will have Spencer BARF_ord at LT. That will be real fun. Just wait and see. Even Puni is out now. We could have a late round rookie at RG. I can't see how that's a less big problem than WR. Pearsall and Jennings should be fine with Kittle at TE. CMC at RB. That's enough targets who can get open and catch and make plays.

Well, we already tried to trade for one and the article on the front page says we're looking at trade options for wide receivers.

I don't think the 9ers are really looking to spend early to mid round picks on a WR. If they did Metchie would've been a 9er.

Jennings will be out there week 1. His calf will be miraculously healed in the next 2 weeks just in time to get some practice in before the week 1 game.

I wouldn't want someone who doesn't want to be in camp. How would that help us. How would that help his chemistry with Brock. IF that's the case but who knows

I'd inquire about what Nijman would cost from Carolina. If he could be had cheap he'd have value.

Hard to tell how Burford will play when we've never seen him play LT with a game plan and with the starters around him. Much like the DL they are relying on coaches making the line work with the players they've got. Ideally one of the other attempts at making a swing tackle would have worked out.

LG game 1 starter may be Colby, and it's possible he doesn't give up the spot to Bartch.

So, yeah, they will be watching the waiver wire, and it's possible the line may have some IR DR players to make the first 4 games just that little bit more challenging.
