Could be an interesting addition.

i think he sucks for a lot of reasons. he's not quick off the ball, he's not a route runner, he's not known for his hands. he's kinda of a one trick guy imo, who can win downfield as a wr2, and we don't really look to go vertical a bunch. he disappears for large stretches of games and you have to ask why a talent poor team like jags is taking a big money hit to cut his behind. so this is a hard no for me

I saw a couple of you respond. Yeah, had similar concerns that's he's one dimensional. Figured he might be a good flyer pic if they got him on the cheap.
Lynch, please go get one vet LB and if you can make the money work, sign Asante Samuels or Justin Simmons or Jalen Ramsey

No room for a vet LB IMO, Warner, Martin, Winters, Bethune, & Gifford are locked into 5 spots IMO, as for Ramsey, hell no, not on his current contract, 3yrs nearly $50M left, no thanks, costs like $20M this year, we just decided to get rid of older overpaid players, & help clean the cap, taking on Ramsey's deal would make zero sense, I'd be fine with Samuel, I don't see room for a Simmons, we're not gonna overpay though, every year fans get mad we don't spend money on players, then we do, and people gets mad we gave that money out, no thanks.

Hopefully they can work it out... though I like Martin, the bold still could use a vet (Mosely, Maybin or...). It's really concerning and If Warner catches the injury bug, we could be screwed.

Our secondary would be fine if a crystal ball said Mustapha and Green will be healthy all year... Green got nicked up (already) last year and MM recently got surgery. Even with the DB signings earlier this year, the safety position looks thin.
So… we replacing Jackson with clowney??

That draft really was horrible. Let's put all the blame on Adam Peters.

The one I hate the most is Burford because he really effed us in the Super Bowl by letting the best DT in all of football go unblocked in the redzone for a go ahead TD.

I still have hope that kalia will be a decent rotational player. Maybe Zakelj will be our next Mckivitz?
So far 2022 has been a pretty crappy draft. 16 players in the entire draft has made the pro bowl (one being Brock).

really the two best players were taken in the top 5, Aiden Hutchinson and sauce Gardner. There are decent players in the draft but not a good draft overall, so far.

overall, we hit on a QB and that's more important than any other position. So even if Brock's our only turnout - it's a wonder draft, IMO. Lol I'll take a franchise qb every damn time

I was listening to the Locked On NFL podcast and they were going through free agent LBs and the list was bare. Like it was so bare that Devondre Campbell's name came up.

we have hit 4/21 of our picks in the first three rounds since 2017 and have traded a lot of our picks to move around to select players that did nothing.

we aren't just missing but we missed on players who played very very little for us a lot.

ive been saying this for a while but since 2017, we have like less than a 20% hit rate on picks in the first three rounds. Keep in mind that we've traded away numerous 2nd and 3rd round picks to move for guys like Foster, Lance etc

It's actually stunning
2017: 0/4 (Solomon Thomas, foster, Witherspoon, and beathard)

2018: 1/4 (Mike mcg, Dante Pettis, Fred Warner, tavarious Moore) you could make an argument that Mcg wasn't a total bust but def underwhelming.

2019: 2/3 (bosa, Deebo, Jalen Hurd). This was pretty damn good outside of Hurd.

2020: 1/2 (Kinlaw, Aiyuk) we didn't have a 2nd or 3rd round pick, both were firsts.

2021: 0/4. You could maybe argue banks? this was the Trey Lance year, banks, Trey sermon, Ambry)

2022: 0/4 - I'm including the lost first that was traded away for Trey, Drake Jackson, Davis price, Danny grey)

2023 +: we are kinda getting into situations that is too recent to really judge but in 2023 we didn't have a first or second.
