I've mentally prepared myself for most scenarios I think. If they surprise me and go with a player I'm not expecting I'll be shocked honestly. Won't mean it will be a bad pick of course but if we don't take any of these guys I'm gonna need Dave Lombardi to help me cope.

My holy crap can't believe we got them:
Abdul Carter
Mason Graham
Travis Hunter
Armand Membou
Will Campbell

Likely 11th pick realistic/favorites
Shemar Stewart
Mykel Williams
Derrick Harmon
Walter Nolen
Mike Green

Ok with at 11 but not my preference
Will Johnson
Jahdae Barron
Kevin Banks
Jalon Walker
Jihaad Campbell
Kenneth Grant

Guys I can understand being safe BPA picks but I'd really rather not go there picks
Tyler Warren
Ashton Jeanty

The pray our injury luck improves choice
Josh Simmons

A trade down would be the best option in all likelihood but I just doubt it happens.

For myself
  • Holy Crap Tier - Carter, Membou, Will Campbell
  • Likely - Nolen, Harmon, Walker, Stewart, Pearce
  • If it happens, sure... - Graham, McMillan, Jihaad Campbell, Barron, Jeanty
  • Safe but no thanks - Hunter, Will Johnson, Egbuka, Golden, Burden
  • No no no - Mike Green, Mykel WIlliams, Any QB, Any TE, Any IOL, Any K or P

I'd like to see multiple trade downs into the 20s to get extra day 2 picks.

So what is the concensus in taking a kicker and punter. Could be early based on past prcedence. Is Lynch going to move up for Saunders or Dart, again very possible,

Same here. I've been saying all along that there aren't any great players that would be availble at #11 so any of the others at that spot would be okay with me as long as it's a need. Since the Niners have so many needs that means just about anyone other than QB. RB and TE aren't big enough needs so I hope they don't get tempted if Jeanty or Warren are there at #11.
Good article on the front page about how we have waited too long to get Kittle extended and now we have to pay more.

Why does this regime wait until the last minute to sign guys? Do they think they will get deals the longer they wait?

All that happens is that we end up overpaying every single time.

It's not a need and there are much bigger ones. But if you projected out the next 12 - 15 years Warren could be really great. He's the closest thing to Gronk since Gronk coming out. It's not a need but could be a great pick with Kittle now in his 30's. Still don't want this pick. Offensive and defensive line should be the first few picks. But if they did pick him and he's the next Gronk for 12+ years it's hard to say that's bad. It's better than some bust. I don't want the RB although he is talented.

No question Warren is talented and culd be a good player for several years but they need to address the trenches. They can't keep grabbing skill players early and expecting to get quality linemen in the later rounds. Good linemen can make all those skill plyers look a ot better. O linemen protecting the QB and opening holes for ther RBs. D linemen pressuring the QB and making tackles which makes it easier for the LBs and DBs. It all starts up front.

Yeah I agree. They have to build the lines. Like the Eagles and Lions do. Our trenches aren't even in the same category as them.

I agree that OL and DL should be the priority. Still would not be surprised though if they did. Mc and Kit are getting more injury prone and older. Having another TE would also help the OL to some degree. At some point. Mc might have to be jettison for cap reasons.

Problem is the OL hole will be magnified when Trent retires. Which won't surprise after this year. Though they could go free agency when it does.

It's misleading IMO, Kittle was always going to reset the TE market at $20M or more a year, should they have gotten both Brock & Kittle done by now, hell yes, but it's not that big of a deal, now the Dre one is a big deal, they should have offered him what they offered/outbidding Denver back in late February/early March.

Dont laugh. Our kicker sucks and our stating Brock is a potential hold out. Didnt we take punter in the 4th?
