I really don't know why there is a sense of having to get Purdy extended this offseason. We should be going the Kirk Cousins route and franchising him back to back years after he plays out this year. Instead, we have let our FA's walk, cut numerous vets and won't be a player in any big FA additions.
It is embarrassing. Between the accounting error with the finance department costing us a draft pick and the terrible back loaded/void year deals, Lynch ultimately is the guy who has to answer for all of this. It's not a good look.
Agreed especially since we blowing it up, I'd look elsewhere then breaking the bank for purdy, he smart but talented he is not, if we gonna suck anyways, we may as well try out other qb options
Purdy isn't talented good grief what a ridiculous take.
He is talented, but I'm beginning to have an opinion that Purdy on a rookie contract with a top 3 NFL roster is not in the same world as Purdy @ $50 million with a roster that is effectively rebuilding from the ashes of an all-in build up that has already peaked, and is quickly being dismantled.
I honestly think there is talk of this in the front office. And hell, if there isn't at least the gaming out of moving on from Purdy, the FO isn't doing their job.
And they love Purdy.
