The Bills did last year what are doing this year and they did ok.

Reset the cap, get a good haul of rookies and we are set.

But this is still a roster that can compete at the day once we fill out the DLine and Lb. Hell, they can't be any worse than what we started last year

Agreed

The draft is going to be absolutely essential. They need to walk out of there with at least two quality starters and some good, cheap depth that can be developed for the future. It's particularly essential that they don't make any weird picks or reaches.
What's crazy to me is we get rid of half the team and pay some random 4th string TE 20mil but we couldn't at least bring Greenlaw back

They've already explained themselves. Why do they need to do it again?

They said they need to reset a bit on the spending and get younger. Clearly putting a lot of weight into the draft which hasn't happened yet.

Other than last years draft, the last few years have not been good. They started great with late round picks and as I said the last 3 years other than Purdy have not been great. We need two years of 2018 2019 drafts to be back in it.

This has Dr York written all over it. Shanny and Lynch will bail if they keep this up. I feel sorry for Salah coming here to a rebuild. May hurt his chances to be a HC next year.

2018 draft wasn't good save Fred Warner. McGlinchey was ok but a top 10 pick that doesn't make his 2nd contract with the team that took him isn't great. Pettis was too soft.

The reason last few years haven't been good was cuz of the Lance move and CMC trade killing our early picks.

Hard to truly analyze last years class but at least so far it looks very promising. Definitely need to hit on several of our picks this year in a big way. Bosa, Deebo and Greenlaw equivalents in the trenches would go a long way.

Tho getting a Bosa, Deebo and Greenlaw equivalents at their respective positions would also be very welcomed.

May be a draft we see 12+ picks and hope we hut a bunch

Fair enough I could not remember when we got the talent was it 2017 or 2018.

We are going to have to do better than normal the next two years or it will be a total rebuild. I hope we start on both D line and O line. We can get exterior players in free agency and homerun draft picks.

We have done it before as we know, let's pray for it again. 🙏

The difference is they have Josh Allen. They probally win 5 games max without him.

I'd say that's asking an awful lot considering their history.
I really don't know why there is a sense of having to get Purdy extended this offseason. We should be going the Kirk Cousins route and franchising him back to back years after he plays out this year. Instead, we have let our FA's walk, cut numerous vets and won't be a player in any big FA additions.

It is embarrassing. Between the accounting error with the finance department costing us a draft pick and the terrible back loaded/void year deals, Lynch ultimately is the guy who has to answer for all of this. It's not a good look.

The Bills have an elite QB that can mask a lot of roster short comings.

Agreed especially since we blowing it up, I'd look elsewhere then breaking the bank for purdy, he smart but talented he is not, if we gonna suck anyways, we may as well try out other qb options

Like if Mason Graham is available don't be drafting Tyler Warren.

We can draft 10 guys for the trenches starting in round 2.

I want Tyler Warren at #11

I don't think Lynch is the person to blame for accounting errors and contract structure.
