Brendel was ranked 35th for Centers…per John Chapman podcast yesterday. Like I was saying and I know a few or I should say one member here had issue with that but he was wrong. We need to get rid of him, but it looks like we'rekeeping him. I hope Hennessy starts at center because this is not looking good.

They can sign a competent guard in FA or slide someone over, maybe draft Membou (or another) and use him at guard for now

That could work. The thing is centers call the signals in the O line. It's an important job. Not like when you played as a young kid and stuck th fat kid with no atheticism at center. Playing center in Kyle's system is even more demanding than itis in some simpler systems. If they can find a good replacement for Pui then moving him to center would be great.

There aren't a lot of great ceners in the NFL. The really good ones usually play for 10 years or more and end up in the HOF.
