OT Moore agrees to deal with Chiefs

A new blindside protector for Patrick Mahomes: Former 49ers' offensive tackle Jaylon Moore reached agreement today on a two-year, $30 million deal, including $21.24 million fully guaranteed at signing with the Kansas City Chiefs, per sources. -- Adam Schefter, NFL insider

Opinion: Lots of money for a back up who grades decently, but apparently can't swing to the right side.

The Chiefs have a RT, they need him to play on the left side.

Bill Walsh used to say, never ask a player to do something he can't do. So we will see
Ugh....Dalman to the Bears. Damnit. That was the one I really wanted.

Ryan Kelly is my fallback. Josh Myers after that.

I don't mind if we strikeout or get outbid on a lot of these free agents today and tomorrow. The only one i really want is Drew Dalman. Yes it would be nice to have Bosa, Allen, Jarett, etc but we need to build through the draft. Let the rookies play and maybe bring in some low cost vet players so there will be at least some competition at each spot.
I think I'd be a little aggravated if they completely strikeout and end up scraping the bottom of the barrel, but I'll be satisfied if they add a starting caliber center and some quality depth.

The problem with that is we may have to pay a O/L guy at the level of Moore a ton of $.

I think Jed is forcing our F/O to build through the draft.

Lol. Probably wise to just build through the draft.

Moore getting $30M over two years and Kinlaw to get $45M over 3 - I'm confused. Is this the twilight zone? Those two players are ass. Mediocre on their best days?

idc what PFF says. I watched Moore for years and he was god awful.
Elijah Mitchell to the Chiefs...those f'ers love stealing our SBs and our players.

I saw Schefter's update, not the numbers. That's the first move they've made with Peters at the helm I don't get. Obviously, he's very familiar with Kinlaw.

OK

Maybe we are just smarter than everyone else, these guys are getting way overpaid!

Moore & Kinlaw become superstars????

Yes, agree with the sentiment. These numbers don't make sense.
