True but with his extensive injury history I'm not sure I want to take the chance. I'd rather get a player like Bobby Wagner for much less and take a hit is pass coverage and improve on run D. (Rather than have a backup LB for multiple games every year)

Love greenlaw, dude never plays though. Same with Huf. Can't pay guys that can't stay on the field.

Let's saleh cook with finding LBers via FA or the draft.

Get younger and target a familiar guy in Sherwood. Who knows how much he will cost though

His performance has dipped and also injuries but he's not horrific. Probably getting him playing alongside his bro would light a fire, would definitely go after if he's not acting like a mercenary thinking he should get a huge bag off his name

Getting him would be a massive improvement over what we've had for the last 4+ years across from Nick. Our defense needs a second pass rusher like humans need oxygen. We've been putting in all these practice squad players/mediocre players and it's been crap.

our defense needs what we had in 2019. Joey might not be a long term fix but is def an improvement - his chemistry with Nick would be good too.

When he can stay in the field he's still legit. Draft a DE as well and then cut YGM

Bosa, Bosa, Floyd, draft Graham at #11 and our DL is back. Joey just needs to stay healthy

The answer is yes.

The question is what will it cost? Maybe Nick can give away some of his salary to make this happen lol. They won't have many other chances to play together.

Contract needs to be loaded with incentives, production and snaps played etc. I also don't think any other team is going to go hard after him with his injury history.
