Getting Crosby and keeping #11 would be a massive win, though. That #11 could be massive if we just get the right pick for our OL or IDL.

That 11th overall pick is pretty valuable. We could try and move down to recoup some picks in a trade scenario like that.

more than likely doesn't happen though. I would keep an eye on Joey Bosa getting cut as well.

He's already on the team in my head. Mama Bosa has just posted a photoshop of Joey on the niners.

Yeah if he gets cut, his chances of being a 9er are extremely high.

honestly it's the most cost effective route besides drafting someone. I could live with Bosa x2 Floyd then add some young game wreckers inside.

Doesn't she do that every year? Lol

I don't know but the Bosas seem like a bunch of mamas boys and I'm sure Joey would like to make his mom happy.

I just looked at Joey Bosa's last 3 seasons. Not good. He's played in only 34 of 50 games and started even fewer. Can't stay healthy. His production when in there hasn't been great. Not one season over 6 sacks in the last 3 years. Last year he had 5 sacks and 13 QB hits in 14 games. Leonard Floyd has better numbers.

I think the idea of Joey and Nick playing together is better than what the actual result would be.

Rotational piece at the right price - sure. Otherwise see what the deal is on garret and Crosby.

He had 5 sacks in 9 starts and had a sack in there playoff game. His season was on par with his last 10 sack year in 2021. His only problem is staying healthy. And it is a big problem.

If Nick wants tp play with him that bad then he can give him part of his salary.

Yeah he still averages about a 20% pass rush win rate though which is top 20 in the NFL. He obviously would have to be cheap or he won't be coming here. So in theory a cheap edge rusher as depth that does still have tremendous upside and would have really good chemistry with Nick. If he was some elite pass rusher we wouldn't have a chance at getting him. Hopefully as a rotational piece he would stay healthier. This is free agency it's about trying to find a good discount on a damaged player and find the best out of them.

Probably correct. Pick 11 I am still bpa, but now wondering if it should be o line regardless since dline and safety are very deep this year and they can load up in the middle rounds.

IMO the 2nd best DT (Nolen) is a better player than the top OT.

Will Campbell & Kelvin Banks Jr. will be going in the top 15.

there's a reason he will get cut and not cost SF elite level cash. When he does play he's pretty disruptive. Having him Floyd Bosa and a rookie rotate seems like the best most cost affective way to have a good edge group.

I mean Mack will be a FA as well.

Not disagreeing with ya. Nolen is a better player than both those guys imo.

This. IMO this is a poor OT draft class and poor overall OL draft class.

This is a deep IDL class BUT if you have a chance to take one of the best of the bunch, why wouldn't you?

I can't keep up with all the guys. Haven't heard about Nolen yet. Which site has a good ranking of all the draft picks?

We don't know how much he would want. if he came here. It he was cheaper than resigning Floyd then okay but he's not any real improvement over Floyd. Maybe not as good considering his problems staying healthy.
