So give up a ton of draft picks and add like $60 million in new spending to a roster that's already limited in depth while having to extend your QB?

What in the New Orleans Saints is this?

No one said a ton of picks it says draft a bunch a dawgs, can't do that without picks. Dalman would be a great signing for us for the right amount, same with DJ Jones for the right number. Where in the New Orlean Saints is this? 49ers would be instant favs to win it all if this happened. Restructure Fred and Kittle will free up a load of cap space. It would literally solve most of our problems.

You don't have to give in to their demands, you can offer something competitive that obviously involves #11 and some more and im fine with that. So no we're not blowing up a lot of your draft ammo. We spend around 12mil for a Center that has the same pass blocking stats as someone you claim the 49ers should've got in Zach Frazier and hes a better run blocker than him according to PFF. You can even throw in Frank Ragnow, which can be considered of one of the top centers in the league and he his pass blocking is worst that Dalman according to PFF. It would instantly make our line better and protect said qb extension that you mentioned.

It would be a first for Kyle to start a rookie center IIRC. Kyle going by history will go the route I suggested for a center if we were to replace Brendel, but things can change.

I don't think its vet min, but he has no guaranteed money left so will likely want a new deal to whoever he is traded to.

You right we have to trust the process and put the pass rush all on Bosa's shoulders like we have since 2019 I mean that's why we gave him that mega contact right?

Why can't they do what the Rams did? The Rams rebuilt their entire defense via the draft in two years. Without any high draft picks. Now they have a ton of financial flexibility that will allow them to pursue higher salary players if they want to.

At some point you have to trust your scouting and just draft well or everyone will get fired anyways.

Yup. We gotta build off last year's good looking draft and whatever thought process we used to build that board and make those picks should be applied to this class with a strong emphasis on improving the trenches.

Gotta give the Rams credit, 2023 draft in particular. I was kind of laughing at them at the time cuz they had SO many draft picks 14 picks is unheard of and that was without a 1st rounder but boy did they land some studs.

We need the influx of young, hungry talent but have to still hit the picks. Eliminate the red flags/injury risks early on in the draft. Take those changes later on if you're going to take those chances.

People focus on Purdy's contract but the teams that are good consistently just draft well. You can't contend without it. Its not a big QB contract that cripples teams, its bad drafting and having to overspend in FA to compensate that gets them.
