Bethea was a good player but past his prime. Martin was/is...Martin. T Smith didn't do well in the past with the niners, would he be better in the WCO? So far I like the aggressive and decisive nature of the moves.

Two good veteran WRs added, Hoyer, one of the best FB in the game...I'm liking this!

That is how FA works. They are clearly overpaying guys that know the system so they can install it properly while young guys and draft picks learn. Most of these are front loaded short term deals. You either overpay or sit on the money and roll it over. People are getting so upset and don't even see what is happening. Also, it isn't your money.

People complaining about spending too much now? I can understand being upset about not spending anything like what Baalke did last year, but we should be happy that we finally have a front office that doesn't twiddle their thumps during FA and only sign some guy named Thad.
