Don't rule out the @49ers as a potential landing spot for top NT @BrandonW_66

What do you guys think? Yeah? Ney?

Personally I'll take anybody but Purcell!

dam how many Dlineman are we linked too, are we that thin on dline? we have buck and armstead ( altho always hurt like hyde ) , and that new guy too , i wouldn't mind it at all though, stopping the run and making teams one dimensional is key, it was embarrsing setting the nfl record for allow 100 yard rushers a game last season.

Baalke would not have been in this mess if he knew how sign free agents and draft players wihtout ACL injuries. Of course we had money, because he neever brought in quality players and replaced a high priced good coaching staff with a bunch of rejects and paid them 50 cents and hour.

I also questioned about the drafting of so many players with injuries, but it is a high risk high reward deal, Walsh had done it, he just did it more than he should and part of the blame should fall on the 49ers medical staff. His biggest slip on that was Lattimore, who told the niners that he had his own doubts.

Lynch is actually so far doing what Baalke did but not in great quantity, you may not recall, he did not have the cap space in half those years. Boldin=Garcon etc. All the players so far are role players and not a Revis or whatever superstar.

Let us not forget, while it is good on paper, we still have to see how it plays out on the field. Plus make no mistake, having the right coach pull in the players means everything. Lynch or any other GM won't be getting these guys if Shanahan was not here. He is hot off the press from appearing in the SB

It helps to have the right coach. His biggest problem to me was he already had a philosophy of what players he wanted (especially on D) and did not get the players to match the coaches system, it was okay when Fangio was here and Harbaugh, once they left those coaches had to change based on the players and those coaches sucked as teachers also.

After adding Juszczyk and Garcon, if they get Brandon Williams I will be like

I'll be ready to move on to the draft.

Let's do it lol. Remember how hard it was to run against SEA when they had Mebane&Red Bryant in top of their games...

True, but one of the biggest assets in the FO (as long as he stays in his lane) is Paraag. Balked didn't capitalize on this asset enough. I am certain all of these deals we're making are cap friendly arrangements with low risk. In two to three years, when some of these FAs turn out to be bums (and some will), we'll be able to cut them with minimal impact to our cap. Now, hopefully we're drafting well enough to replace them with homegrown products.

Baalke would be chilling right now waiting until next week.
I have to honestly say the dude deserves some sort of credit because his/their moves seem to make some kind of sense. Will see how it pans out, but they go about addressing needs, and the moves arent reaches if looked at in proper context.

We need more than before since we are doing a 4-3 although a hybrid of it. Rotation and possible injuries, so if it was 7 last year, we will need 8 now. less LB or get those hybrid LB/DL players.
We need to be cautious and make sure we will have enough money to sign KC if the Skins cry uncle and trade him to us. Plus don't forget the money need to sign draft picks. Will cost more if we manage to get someone to ante up for the #2 over all.
