Thank you!!!

Who gives a shît if we spend money or keep smith contract on the roster. So much space and it's not our money!! Spend it!!!

I can't believe that this has to be explained. I believe, that if you really thought about it seriously for a few minutes, you'd realize pretty quickly why you don't pay $500 for a bad oil change service. It doesn't matter whether your the CEO of Google or not and the money doesn't matter. Then think about what happens if your mechanic finds out that your paying $500 for somebody to do a spotty job of your oil.

It's not difficult, you can't reward bad performances and expect your next results to get better. You send a signal that if you don't live up to your cost, you won't continue to get paid.

COME ON PEOPLE!

What are you talking about. Bad performance? Since when did we have a QB who could hit smith? He's talented, just not used. Flacco knew how to use him and made him a true weapon. I guess you're saying we don't need weapons.

We only had QBs who were garbage and took easier completions. Your comparison holds no water.

So all teams with bad quarterbacks have 6+mil/yr receives who are 6th on the team in receiving stats, targets and catches. That argument is lazy, like putting a triangle in a circular hole. Ya it fits....

Who was throwing to Pryor?

Sofa, we know the high character guys we now have at HC and GM. I don't think either of us see Shanlyn getting a character challenged guy. I see them as taking talent, smart talent, and high character talent. Days of wine and roses....oh, and Aldon...are done. If we land an iffy character/ high talent guy(eg Aldon), I will be amazed...and i bet you will too..

Agree

KS/JL have a golden opportunity that comes by once in their lifetime.

IMO, they'll be careful and not be desperate.

This is really getting exciting and I can't wait.

I'm thinking and hoping Pryor and Garcon.

Keep selling this mantra, ShanaLynch!

Kerley went on to admit that players got comfortable with losing last season and he believes that will change with new head coach Kyle Shanahan. "We have to have an aggressive attitude," Kerley said. "We can't settle for just being this mediocre team or being a team that performs this...we have to perform at the top all the time. That's kind of what was frustrating last year. That's part of the reason why I signed again because on the plus side of that, I see a couple of guys that are hungry and that will go out there and try to get it every time. That's the kind of guys that I want to play for."

i like it! lynchs personality is gonna help us land FAs.

Gold i posted on day 1 , "Lynch was going to make us famous." After Thurs- Fri, we'll see if that was prescient ...or dumb. Pretty sure it will be the former.

Agreed. This hire is gonna make us look really smart or really dumb. So far so good.

Sounds like we're passing up on Glennon. I think he would've been a good stop gap QB but not at the $15+million a year he's seeking.

Yup, I would be surprised if we pursued Britt. I see him as maybe a fallback option if we strike out on the other WRs on the market. Hopefully we can do better than Britt. Don't like the guy at all.

Makes sense. Drafting a QB or waiting to acquire Cousins seems like a better option to me.

according to mike silver it looks like acquiring cousins is looking more likely.

Agreeing to terms w/ Hoyer, Schaub, et al. today won't get it done.

I agree.

If I were Lynch my pitch to these guys would be: I will get you a QB to throw you the ball, my job also depends on it.

Good one.

Agree! He could also show WRs offensive video from Shanahan's offenses and ask if they would like to be part of an offense like this.

Or they show trent Baalkes offenses and say you wont be part of this

Pretty much. Julio getting 1,800 yards in Shanny's o is a pretty good selling point. The qb will come.
Build through the draft Lynch..youre going to grab all these free agents..need to develop a young team..For some reason Lynch doesnt strike me as a draft lover
