With the amount of weapons around him in 2023 on offense a healthy Trey Lance could be scary good once he settles into the role. So while it still ducks to wait a year to see him lead the team, that team he'll be leading is gonna be LOADED.

I give John huge props for his big swings: Jimmy, Dee Ford, Emmanuel Sanders, Buckner trade, Lance, and now this. Regardless of the outcome, I appreciate the all-in thinking.
