I'm awake...
Yeah we signed Kirk Cousins' cousin.
Heard about a mystery deal in the works with some guy named Glaine Babbert.

Keep selling this mantra, ShanaLynch!
Kerley went on to admit that players got comfortable with losing last season and he believes that will change with new head coach Kyle Shanahan. "We have to have an aggressive attitude," Kerley said. "We can't settle for just being this mediocre team or being a team that performs this...we have to perform at the top all the time. That's kind of what was frustrating last year. That's part of the reason why I signed again because on the plus side of that, I see a couple of guys that are hungry and that will go out there and try to get it every time. That's the kind of guys that I want to play for."

Kenny Britt makes sense from a talent standpoint. I just think the guy is a clown. Not the high character person I expected to pursue, but hey, we need WR talent.

The only thing that is bothering me slightly is that he seems to be transparent to the media, but I hope it's just fluff to satisfy the media seeing that he used to be one of them.
Transparent when he wants to be, probably to benefit the team fan relationship that's gone to garbage over the last few years...they've also done a good job squashing the leaks so far.

That's what I figured. Probably acknowledges that Baalke was pretty ant social and keeping the fans happy is an important part of the game.

Keeping the fans happy is a good way to inspire loyalty, which helps keep your team solvent.

I think, objectively, it has to be production per dollar. That's the only way you can normalize the two players and gauge whether the decision was beneficial or not (smith and his replacement). All comparisons must be normalized and it only seems logical to normalize based on player cost.
2017 Salary: 6.5mil
2016 stats (obviously a projection but I can't see the future so what ever):
REC: 20 --> 325K per catch
TGTS: 49 --> 132K per target
YDS: 267 --> 24K per yard
------------------
^ That's the benchmark for his replacement, we'll see if Lynch can find somebody that will charge less than 325K per catch or less than 24000 per yard. (Yes I added the zeros for effect)
2016 mighr be an anomaly statistically and the money is neaningless to me. Trying to get the most production pwr dollar is not the best way to win imo.
You missed badly on my point and didn't care to back up yours with any research.
Anyways 2016 is the bottom of the 4 year trend in pretty much every category. It just happened to correlate with a rising 4 year salary trend...

it makes sense...he was delayed getting a real payday by the position switch and that has shortened his peak earning potential, If I were him I would be pushing for max deal as this could be his only chance.
