Settle down there NC Jr.
Haha. NY has seen the light through the rose colored glasses.
When did you see the light? I know it wasn't when Baalke was flushing this team down the toilet for countless years. So was it when Lynch and co completely tore down the dumpster fire roster? Or was it when they rebuilt it into a title contender? Or was it when he won EOTY? Just trying to pinpoint it so I can see where I missed it 😀
Lynch.
I learned from Baalke you can't do it solo (note that he's hiring Ethan away from us and is magically more aggressive and ditched the moneyball mantra)...Baalke couldn't do it alone, Scot McCloughan couldn't do it alone. And Lynch couldn't do it alone so he hired a large FO to support him. Smart!
And I said upon John Lynch's hire, to pay extra close attention to the off season trends. If it ends up being the same kind of moneyball approach, then you know it's Paraag who runs this b***h.
And Paraag runs this b***h.
I'm willing to bet if Lynch moved on to another team, he'd follow in the same path as Baalke (now).
So it's on Lynch or Paraag? Not totally following . You also mention Baalke and Scott doing it alone, but why would that be applicable here when you go on to say he hires really good FO guys to support him?
and are you really saying Baalke was being held back here and what he's doing now is good GM'ing?
On Baalke, he was never a guy who would spend in FA, he admitted he had the ok, but decided to not spend, he also said what they(Jags) did this offseason won't be their way, so that says to me that Baalke is still too conservative, yes Lynch can be, but he actually goes after & gets some top notch FAs(Ward), plus extend our own(Juice, Trent, Kittle, AA, Ward, Warner, etc...) to big money deals.
