Alshon doesnt have the speed. That was why we didn't draft him to begin with. All Hail AJ Jenkins

He ran a 4.4+. That's pretty fast for a WR his size.

Baalke was simply well aware that other teams were listening as well.
Big bad John talking to Redskins right now!

As someone said, you can't win FA, you can only lose it. It's not about making a splash or raising your stock. It's about the underlying fundamentals. When we look back at FA a year from now the question is: Did you make the team better?

Agreed. This is why it's critical to have your systems in place and identify perfect fit-players for these systems. That's how you WIN.

Examples IMHO:
RCB A.J. Bouye - You now have two press CB's for the SF/Seattle 4-3 under defense (Robinson + Bouye), like Sherman + Shead
ZWR Kenny Britt - Big-bodied ZWR that is critical to Kyle's WCO
NT/1T Brandon Williams - Immovable object that takes up two who then allows your others to attack/pass rush (Seattle)
C J.C. Tretter - Kyle leans heavily on veteran C's who can take the heat off the QB (see, Alex Mack)
WILL Kevin Minter (4.67) - Self-explanatory need
QB Brian Hoyer - Experience with the WCO
SAM Malcolm Smith (4.44) - Perfect fit for the 4-3 under defense and has already played in it
YWR Jeremy Kerley - Slot WR's are very important in Kyle's offense
FB Patrick DiMarco - Who better for Kyle's offense? Already knows it!
QB Ryan Nassib (depth) - Young and has learned the WCO in NY
XWR Ted Ginn Jr. (depth) - Speed outside and insurance for Torrey and ST ability
LDE/5T Chris Jones (depth) - Backup to Buckner; edge setter who can add a bit of pass rush
RB DuJuan Harris (RFA) - RB's who are quick and can catch well and make people miss in space and can be split out wide

I like the list. Also like Kirkpatrick/Gilmore. Pryor. Glennon.

Btw is Shead even good, I could of sworn every time I watched Seattle he was getting beat. Just don't use his name anymore like he's somebody lol.

You are right he was the guy everyone picked on because they couldn't do much against Sherman. He is not that good at all
Come on John, close the deal!

Haha. It was more a point of emphasis that the role he plays would be what Bouye would play here...not that he's good at it.

What about Kenny Stills young and a blazer. I am not sold that Tory Smith will be on this team when it is all said and done. Also I think Stills could play the slot but may not be type cast for it meaning they could move him around. He is interesting to me think there is a place for him on this team. Also don't kill me for this one but I would like them to take a run at Josh Gordon. I know I know they have to do there homwork on him but if he has his addictions under conrtol and the orginization helps him which they have experience it could be a massive win win. Its not gonna cost much so why not.

You certainly have him slotted in the right two WR positions at the X and Y. He's certainly worth a look and you may be right about Torrey.

Not sure what was so impressive, in that Romo wants to go to:

1) a contender

2) somebody who has a good O line and can protect him.

Addendum: WASH ain't a contender.
Still, nice that lynch is thinking large here, getting 3 teams involved. Are we closer? With Romo's requirements, maybe further away. It does tell you something tho, when there has been talk about 3 rookie QBs, Hoyer, Schaub, and all others. Cousins was and is the guy all along. Our guys just keep mum about it. Somedody leaked to press re: Romo. Bets? Jerry Jones.
Do it!!!!! Bacardi and cola!!!!!! do it!!!! do it!!!!
