What was the point of Lynch revealing that OBJ said he wanted to come here? All it does it make himself look bad for not getting the job done when we had a competitive team.

The tactic of being passive when it comes to getting game changers through FA and trade while also squandering draft picks like they are worthless in unnecessary trade ups for players who aren't worth the effort is clearly a bad one if you want to build a winning franchise with staying power.

You gotta have a reason for free agents to want to come to your team in the first place...OBJ like other "talented" players with options get to choose.

The rams have 10x more star power than we do & an infinitely better roster - and are working with the same cap constraints

but the draft picks! The rams will get comp picks, right? They'll probably end up with as many picks as we have in this draft (6?)

lynch has managed to build a roster that is not only awful and injury prone, but also expensive & difficult to replenish via limited draft capital. If trey isn't elite, I am terrified for the next 3 years and hope we clean house sooner (rather than later) & get back to winning.

comp picks from what? Maybe OBJ after he leaves? You don't get a comp pick for every player lost in FA...there's a formula. If you bring in FAs that negates the lost one (more to it but that's kinda how it goes).

higher end draft picks are super important when it comes to roster building an cap relief....doesn't mean s**t if you constantly draft the wrong players though. SF overall has been piss poor at drafting and signing FAs. Can't win football games consistently the way they've been building this roster.

I hated this hire from day 1. Should have been Patton or actually Terry McDonough...people do know if McDonough ended up being the GM we would have drafted Josh Allen lol. WTF.
