Free agents don't want to come here because of poor talent and getting pwned by Paraag on their contracts?

Ya don't say.

John, that's a problem.

They way Paraag does contracts is not an issue with players, they get a lot of their guaranteed money, and that's all players care about.

Was Paraag an issue to resigning DeFo though? DeFo got a heavily front loaded deal I don't think Paraag would have gone for.

Idk how much pull Paraag has, we only speculate about his true role with this team. If we are of the belief that Paraag has say in FA/Draft/Trades whatever, then I could see how Paraag could've been against keeping Buckner.

All I know is that Buckner said that the FO barely communicated at all with him about a new contract. That tells me they were never really interested in keeping him, and the money ball route was the better option with paying AA a little less and getting a 1st round pick.

They're playing the money ball route with the secondary no doubt about it. Time to rebuild the secondary, get rid of Jimmie Ward ASAP, don't even think about re-signing Jaquiski Tartt!!! Spend some REAL money on the secondary, I like Kyle Fuller, JC Jackson and Marcus Williams, these Muther f**kers know how to intercept the damn ball. Fire ALL of the DB coaches and get someone who knows how to coach the secondary.

I would be pretty shocked if we don't sign one those guys.

I wouldn't, John Lynch and his approach to addressing the secondary has had me pulling my hair out since he got the job. Ahkello Witherspoon and Ambry Thomas, Unf**kinbelievable!!!!!
Part of me wants to believe lynch does not have much say because of the amount of soft injured players we draft and sign.

I just can't see him going for a lot of them on his own considering the dude was crazy tough.

It feels like paraag has the most swing then Kyle then lynch is wayyyyy down the list. This also makes sense with who is most friendly with the York's

Feels like lynch is not getting a lot of his guys just by his excitement toward our current roster.
Whatever is going on behind the scenes, there obviously needs to be a shake up

He is the EVP of Football Operations.

He is the big boss of all things football.

The job deacription is in the Title.

Every time I think of Paraage and what you guys say about him, I think of this guy from Lord of the Rings.

His contacts are 'typically' lower in guaranteed money with annual rip cords with heavy incentives unlikely to be reached. Every agent knows this too.

The way Lynch threw Warner under the bus is a clear indication that things are falling apart within the organization.

I got no problem with that. Warner is a captain and just got a huge raise, he sucks this year compared to last. His ass needs to get called out. I hope they keep doing it until his play improves.

Yea it wasn't that bad. And hopefully he has had this discussion with Fred so that these comments don't come to him as a shock. To keep calling him out would be a terrible idea. Once is enough publicly.
