Lynch: Who do you like, Adam?
Peters: Myles Garrett
Lynch: And you, Tom?
Gamble: Myles Garrett
Lynch: Kyle?
Shanahan: Trubisky
Lynch: Alrighty then...Trubisky it is.

FUUUUUUUUUUUU Kyle!!!

I like Trubisky but I really like Myles Garrett, just the thought of a guy with that size and freakish athleticism running down and bodyslamming Russell Wilson gets me giddy.

Has the value driven philosophy been a product of Baalke or direction from Analytics. Were the ACL picks a Trent fetish or part of an organizational philosophy?
Regardless of what the case may be, I hope the team is looking to change their roster and draft building philosophies.

He addressed this very topic, during the KNBR interview ... and what I took from his words are this:
he will listen -- as he states during the interview -- (because) I understand that Paraag, is one of the
best in the league at it. He went on to say, I'd be foolish to not listen to that type of input ...

Reading between the lines (of that part of the segment), I came away with the feeling that he'll do
what's best for the teams chances to win, beyond the analytics etc ...

Remember one of the first handful of plays in the last NFCCG we went to and Aldon got to the backfield, made Wilson fumble and recovered it? That is what I want back. Think we only got a FG off of it tho. Lol

Thanks man, I definitely hope that is the way things will work.
This is good. We hired a guy to do Jed York's job.

He also says that he doesn't think evaluating talent should be about analytics but will use it if he can.

While Lynch handles s**t, Jed can sit back in the owners suite and wave a giant foam finger while planning his future career in politics. Everyone wins in the end.

Thats a good thing. If it means Jeds only job is to sign the checks then its a great thing.

Ive never thought analytics was bad as part of the evaluation process but it shouldnt be the main tool you use in the evaluation process.

Wonder how Peters feels about analytics.
Lynch, when asked what Paraag Marathe's role will be in the FO...

"I report to Jed York."
