Congrats to John Lynch, he had a lot of doubters I'm pretty sure I was one of them. But hopefully after this season he stays the course and keeps the 9ers competing for a Super Bowl year in and year out.
Ditto!

I love it! But don't get too excited Baalke won the same award in 2011. lol
"Lynch is nothing without all of Baalke's great players."
LOL
Baalke was a doofus. He couldn't draft an all pro if it fell on him. His best draft that got him executive of the year was all done prior to him. I have to say, if John and Kyle can continue to keep the relationship and trust that they have now, this is a dynasty in the making. You look at Bellicheat over in New England, and you get the feeling Bellicheat is doing everything himself, because he doesn't trust anybody else to take the load off himself.
Belichek just seems like he's doing it by himself because of that no drama/personality act he puts on for the press. He has some right hand guys. Idk if he actually listens to them but there's a couple.
Lynch and Shanahan have a QB so that automatically gives them a chance for some longevity with this franchise. As long as Jimmy is a franchise QB they would have to really screw up the drafts and FA to not be perennial winners.
How much they win depends on Jimmy like it or not. Teams today rarely have the depth year and year out like the 49ers had this year. It's those years we will need Jimmy to be great to elevate our playoff chances and give the team opportunities year in and year out. If that happens then maybe the Niners can be the next dynasty.
I think Jimmy will be capable and expect him to put up some league leading numbers the next few years. I think Kyle and Lynch will learn from their mistakes and will be better prepared year after year. I love the pairing of Kyle and Jimmy. The present and future look bright.
Belicheat lost a couple of assistant coaches. Matt Patricia come to mind. Vrabel? Anyway, yeah, he does have assistants still with him there at the Patriots, but they seem to be all kind of newbies. More likely he's teaching them as they work with him.
Jimmy is indeed a franchise QB, and I think -- with some luck -- they can replicate Belicheats dynasty run. But a lot of things have to come together to make that happen.
If ShanaLynch continues to draft well in the middle to late rounds, that's a really good sign that they are going to have a lot of future success. Charles Haley was a 4th round pick, and if they can even replicate half of the '86 draft on a year by year basis, yes - I can see a dynasty coming together these next couple of years.
