Funny that before this season, there were many on this board that thought Lynch was a disaster of a hire and wanted him gone. I guess winning really does change everything.

Elevate Lynch to what?

Vice President of Football Operations.

LOL, they are not going to fire Paraag to replace him with Lynch.

You're soooooo black and white. Why would they need to fire Paraag? Jed has never once had a pro football guy who qualified for a VP of Football Operations. Remember, Jed actively is trying to recreate the old 49ers model. That would include having a President, VP, GM, HC...like Policy, McVay, Walsh/Shanahan.

Paraag's current title besides BFF, is 'President of 49ers Enterprises & Executive Vice President of Football Operations.'

John could always be elevated to VP or President of Football Operations. Paraag could still hold his titles as he manages his moneyball team and works with John through the draft, trade, FA market, cap and analytics support.

But John would be the face of the organization and final say on all football moves.

Well deserved!

Congrats to John Lynch, he had a lot of doubters I'm pretty sure I was one of them. But hopefully after this season he stays the course and keeps the 9ers competing for a Super Bowl year in and year out.
