The part I like is:

John Elway, he knew what a championship team looked like because he played. He was in the middle of it. A lot of these so-called 'football guys,' they don't know. They undervalue certain things that may be more important than they give it credit for and John's gone on and had a lot of success in Denver doing it his way.

Jed said there was a committee. I don't know what they did. They never put the details out just so it would appease fans like you.

Right when you walked into HQ as much as you can see without opening any doors. they had all kinds of stuff.. Photos, SB Trophies , NFC Trophies

i used to go there to get my magnetic 49er schedules. they had them on the receptionist desk counter

How many handles do TK, the Cohns, and others of their ilk have on here? They HAVE to have accounts on here based on some of the comments I am reading. Having a little or even a lot of skepticism about the hiring of John Lynch is one thing. But I swear it seems some people wanted the Cable/Gamble thing to happen JUST so they could say they were right, the front office hasn't changed, we can't attract any quality candidates, etc when everything that has happened in the last 3 days has indicated the front office is indeed changing.

We are going to have three knowledgeable football people in the building excluding Tom Gamble and some "fans" still want to find the negative. As for the Chris Ballard situation, he went with the safer job because they have a franchise QB in place. Hats off to him. In terms of the front office type, he's who I wanted. But so far, based on actual evidence and not feelings, we have many reasons to be happy for who we've got.
