I like what I just heard/saw from him on TV.
Good first TV interview. Basically a fk you in your face kind of guy. Put it all on the table, touch tips, hug it out and go kick some fkn ass kind of guy!
Got me pumped up!
In all seriousness I am excited to see some new blood pumped into this organization.
I think some serious pride pills have been swallowed and we will get some good football minds back in building.
He had a good few talks with Mike a few weeks back. I bet they were cooking something up.

What did they say makes this hire like the Steve Kerr hire, how are they similar?
The last guy that was called the 49ers Steve Kerr was Jim Tomsula.

Why is Jed in between the head of football operations and the general manager?

Like many of you last night I was stunned and pissed. After letting it sink and reading a lot of articles and watching videos I'm on board. John understands his weakness in scouting and will find guys to support him to make this team successful. We all should support this guy even if you hate jed/yorks.

Great video. He certainly seems to have the right attitude.

Oh that's right he had experience in the AFL lol...that's like saying tomsula was prepared to be a head coach cause he was one in NFL Europe.
Elway isn't a scout and even stated it, but he's surround himself with great evaluators (one lynch is going after currently) and he's been able to bring in FA which is something lynch might actually be good at doing unlike baalke.

The weird thing is that when Elway came in they were coming off a terrible year, #2 pick in the draft, and drafted some guy named Von. Comparison will grow deeper if we draft another Texas A&M pass rusher and sign quality FAs on defense.

Nothing lol. I forgot Kerr was a GM. It made more sense at the time.
