But but Kyle may still turn us down over this choice to hire Lynch! I read it on NT!

Jed: Hey John, how about 6 years and a few millions?

John: Where do I sign.

Give it a rest man we know where you stand on all things 49ers...

Nobody is laughing at us. Actually the Niners are receiving a lot of praise for doing something different and bringing in a football guy who is respected by tons of people around the league. A guy with a tons of connections around the league. Have you not read a single article?

Could be part of his contract he reports to Jed not Paraag...I know hard for ya to believe

It is hard to belive because it doesn't make sense. Why wouldn't he report to the head of football operations, it seems like it would be easier to keep the two on the same page?

Not sure why he's lie about that

Maybe to make it appear that Lynch has more autonomy than he has or to shield Marathe. I have no idea if he is being truthful, I just think it is a weird structure and didn't seem to work well with Baalke.

That's actually not true. Some people are definitely laughing at us, particularly Twitter critics and pundits. Shannon Sharpe and Matt Miller come to mind first.

It is what it is.

Lynch: Tom Gamble has a ton of experience in this business. I'd be a fool not to soak that up. #49ers

It's nice that he's got a guy who has knowledge he can absorb, but at the same time, it's hard to ignore the simple fact that this is going to be a major jump for Lynch and we should expect a rough first year regardless.

I don't think Matt Miller is laughing. He is a 49ers fan.

Shannon Sharpe? Who cares what that imbecile has to say. The guy isn't clever at all. He actually seems butt-hurt in my opinion. Do you have any people who are actually relevant that believe it's a laughable and moronic move?

Wait... for real?

Dude had a negative spin on everything. When the GM hiring was announced he said "here's some anonymous, unfiltered texts I've received from league sources" and they were all of people laughing.

Adam Peters would help a lot since he is currently the director of college scouting and the draft is his first test.

Maiocco is a beast. He is in the front row asking Kyle Shanahan questions at media day as we speak. Dude took the Lynch conference call from the stadium and did a full write up while boxing out his spot in front of Shanahan.

Bleacher Report is based out in San Fran. A lot of Niner fans run that website.
