Really? About time to own up to a goof up. But glad to have him on board. Maybe he does read this scandal sheet after all. Nah, he just finally put the "Move Solomon to the outside" to bed. Thank the Lord, and pass the ammo. Now, maybe we get started on the riight foot for 2019. Wunderbar.!
Hey, its a start.
Could be seen as an indictment of Saleh. Either a lightbulb went off in his head or they all sat down and had a come to Jesus meeting and this was one of the moves that were "suggested" to him.
Hopefully, that play calling vs. the Giants was horrible, Manning took apart his defense like this was his Super Bowl year.![]()
This team could be so much better with a proven play caller like maybe Todd Bowles or even Greg Williams. But since Shanahan most likely will be keeping Saleh around, they gotta make some changes!!!
If kyle insists on keeping Saleh around, a question we should ask ourselves is why? I sure hope it isn't because with Saleh here, Kyle can micromanage the D so it is "exactly as kyle wants it" . I sincerely hope THAT isnt the reason he wants to keep Saleh. But if not, why? Is it because Saleh has done such great things with our D, and the prospects are so bright for D in 2019 under Saleh? Not from where i sit.
Frankly i fervently hope PHX is correct and the leadership sat down and had a come to Jesus meeting. I definitely do NOT want this to be for the reason above.
Kyle has managed the OC with incredible grace and ease. And Saleh has...? Well, you finish that sentence. And don't forget JL who supposedly oversees everything while trying to keep everyone happy.
I am curious exactly how Kyle's and JLs contracts are written, and who exactly puts the final "OK" on decisions. Or is it both? Is kyle responsible for each and every thing that goes down football-wise? Regardless of what it is, i hope Mayhew, the EXPERIENCED one in F.O brings some sage advice to our leaders. Frankly i hope he has an equal vote in whatever decision is made.

People want to b***h about losing close games well how many teams would even be in the game with second and third string players? It's unbelievable the logic we can't put that on coaching because there's only so much these backup players can do they're not supposed to win but at least we are keeping it close.
Like I've said. 7-3 with Garoppolo And the narrative around here is different. The defense would be playing better when they're not on the field all the time just like last year even with the regression. People need to think before they talk
well said elguapo, agree 100%
+2. Excellent post elguapo. Couldn't agree more.
Thanks guys To me it's facts. That doesn't mean we don't need upgrades on defense or offense it just means we would be 7-3.
I'm still waiting for someone to argue that we would not have beat San Diego, Green Bay, giants, and Arizona twice. Not a fantasy at all just reality. I wonder if the same people that die out what our record would be said the same thing about Green Bay or Dallas when they lost Aaron Rodgers or Tony Romo. Or any good starting quarterback when they're back up was so much worse.

Reminder as we get closer to real free agency.

So he studied them but we did not make an attempt to go after them at all, or anyone else besides supposedly Mack? I'm so sick and tired of hearing his b******t whether it's true or not actions speak louder than words get it done

Totally love your optimism and I love Jimmy G but we truly do not know what our record would be with Jimmy G in the lineup.
Games would of played out way differently..
Let's hope next year we are at least 7-3 or better after game 10

I'm pretty sure Chandler Jones and Melvin Ingram were re-signed before we could talk to them.

By chance, does kyle have full say in where Solomon plays...or is that Saleh? Does JL have any say where Solly plays? Peters, early on? Or is it a HC/DC decision? Just curious whose idea this was ....or was it more HC/GM/DC?
Don't have to ask about O players....that is pure kyle...it's the other i was curious about.

1. Pettis isn't a bust or a miss dso early, WRs take time to develop, 2. Thomas has been playing out of position, 3 Foster does look bad, I'll admit that, 4. the AA and Ward "extensions" aren't extensions, those are 5th yr options picked up.
