I'm sorry, the only thing Lynch has done is get gifted Garappolo. Our defense freaking sucks. We have wasted first round pick after first round pick and they freaking suck. Our DL sucks, our safeties are $hit. Lynch has been a total failure IMO at this point.

Really hasn't done s**t to this point

He has some hits amd misses. Today highlighted what may become another lost draft pick on Witherspoon. He went from starter to the 5th CB in 6 weeks. I mean Mabin was abused but the guy shouldn't even be out there. This is why you make moves for proven vets b/c your draft picks are just a roll of the dice

While I am not a Lynch fan, the defense doesn't suck because of him. Sure, he deserves some of the blame but I moreso blame the defensive coaches who do not know how to utilize the talent that is given to them.

I agree. If I am Lynch, I would target mostly veteran secondary players. He needs to add two VETERAN STARTING safeties and another veteran CB. On defense, I believe that you need a veteran secondary and you can mix them with a youthful front 7.

I agree, if the GM isn't aggressive in the free agent to improve problem areas in the team and keeps missing with draft picks then he has to go.

Can't argue with that. That is why this coming offseason is really his last chance. He has left himself with no choice, but to totally break the bank on the biggest named free agents out there on both sides of the ball. The draft is never going to get it done fast enough unless he hits on all major targets which is just not realistic. For one, we are still suffering from that wasted No.3 overall pick on Solomon Thomas who has turned out to be a complete bust.

Get the Amex Black card out, Lynch, that is your only hope and you are already 2 years behind for doing absolutely nothing in free agency!!!

This is flawed thinking on many levels and a biased opinion without any certifiable proof. It does however, further your narrative, so kudos for that.

Name a GM that has turned around a dumpster fire like the 2015-16 Niners in less than two years? I'll wait.
