Didn't try hard enough....
Allen Robinson has 8 catches too at halftime. That's more than our whole team last week.

Avg 8.3 yard per catch
Brick by Brick..

Well the direction can only be up. What was our record when Jimmy stepped in?
We're better run than the Browns, that's about all we've proven so far
We beat the Lions, but not better than the Lions? Have you seen the Cards this year? The Raiders? The Bills? Pittsburgh? Yes the Steelers that tied the Browns. Come off the ledge. As for our record when Jimmy stepped in, it's September 2018 not October 2017. We are not 0-9. The direction could also be down.

You think we're a better team than the Steelers
Oh that's rich

Steelers have one of the best track records of success. Just because they tied the Browns doesn't mean suddenly they are a bad franchise

And I have another to add. If the 49ers looked like the Los Angeles Rams in weeks 1 and 2, would you still consider them a bad team because we have had a poor track record of success for the better part of 20 years? Just trying to figure out what standards are you going by to judge a team. Or better yet, are the Rams a bad team because they haven't had the greatest track record recently if you overlook last season?

Lol I'm not moving goal posts. You're judging a franchise's direction on the first 2 weeks
Why answer a stupid hypothetical? What if 49ers lose every game the rest of the year? I'd never ask such a dumb hypo
49ers should have lost last week when Jimmy threw a pick. We got fortunate Refs called holding, doesn't change the fact Jimmy made a game losing error
No reason to say we've accomplished anything on the 2 games this year
Originally posted by LifelongNiner:Should have lost? Oh dear. And you're talking about hypotheticals. All I'm saying is we've accomplished being 1-1. We've accomplished being a middle of the pack team. I'm judging the franchises direction over the last 18 months. You said the only thing we've proven is that we're better run than the Browns, so that would make us second to last. So for you, the Bills, better run. The Cardinals, better run. The Raiders, better run. You favor all of those teams directions, front offices, etc to the 49ers. I understand now.

Dear lord, Browns was an example to make a point. Not a complete list
