This! He's not a GM. He will hire the GM that has a similar philosophy of how a football franchise should be built and run..

You don't value or agree with Young? Why?

Call me a blind homer or a f**kin moron, but what if the Yorks understand where Young is coming from, what if there's credence to LaCanfora's message?

if that is a crterion for being hired in the organization, I foresee that our next GM or Head of Football Operations will be Helen Keller with a lobotomy. (or Paraag) .

Mark Purdy stated that Eddie D told him that bold decisions are coming. Everybody can guess what theYork decisions will be, but something is going down. I'm going the optimistic route and hope 'everybody' is fired, lol

Steve just said on ESPN that he was just using 49ers as the example. It is an NFL issue not specifically just a 49ers one.

I still contend that John York is in control of the team as far as spending is concerned. UNTIL IF and WHEN he decides to open up his wallet, this team is destined to pick mediocre staffing and players. ...AND as long as he's making money, he is not concerned about how the team is doing.
Hope Springs eternal and we can all hope that he fires Trent Baalke (which need to be done because he's a control freak) but his replacement won't do much better in acquiring quality players if he continues to control the spending. Look at all the Free Agents that this team has passed on year in and year out! Even with their massive cap space!
Doesn't that tell you something?
Talk is cheap and they can talk all they want about getting a new GM and let him do his thing, but if his hands are tied ... it will all be for naught!
Doom and Gloom you say? Let's face it, if they hadn't gotten lucky with Jim Harbaugh, this team would NOT have had a winning season since they took over!
ONLY an idiot who is in desperate need of a job would work for a cheapskate like John York, so who's the next in line?

Food and beer prices are gonna double to make up for the lack of attendance. The poor loyal fans will pay it. That's what the yorks mean by "bold".

Last weekend after the game Newberry was roasting the team he mentioned how cheap John York was when he played here. The best line was a moment when John asked him why he couldn't play both D and O in order to save money.

Obviously everyone here, as all are in agreement to what Steve said. He has been on a failed team (Tampa Bay) and a winning team and can tell the difference. There is no motivation, no strong leader, nothing. Players (Anthony Dixon and more) just retiring to do ? They need a Bill Parcells kind of guy to shake things up. You know damn well Steve would come back and fix this, but yorkie wont swallow his pride and admit the suck as owners, and just sit back and rake in the cash, not caring at all about the fans.

I feel sorry for the last few fans that will have to pay $100,000.00 for a beer to make up for lost attendance.

He said it, I wish the local news had a YouTube feed of it but when he was going off it was the biggest sticking point I remember.
