Alabama needs to worry about the University of Washington! Chris Petersen is deadly with time to prepare.

I hope this is a joke.
Niners would win by 5 touchdowns, easily.

The NFL team would dominate equally on both sides of the ball. It would be just as bad as if Alabama played a top High School team. Male physical peak as per most experts is said to occur in the late 20's, college players are in their late teens or early 20's.
People say this every year, and it's the most ret**ded premise in all of sports posting (if people are actually serious about it).
The Niners would beat Alabama 150 to zero.
Look at what happens to an NFL team when they have 3 or 4 positions that really suck; Alabama would have like 16 starting positions who would get manhandled like little girls by NFL players (especially their QB).
This isn't true. Baseball players peak as late as any sport (other than golf) and they peak around 27-29. Tennis players peak between 20-25. Sprinters peak in their early-mid 20s. Basketball and football players tend to peak around 27, but by then their athletic ability is diminishing. Some endurance athletes peak in their 30s but the NFL isn't exactly an endurance sport.

Keep in mind that this is referring to peak performance not peak athletic ability which is likely years earlier. 27 is just the sweet spot between athleticism and skill/experience, but physical athletic peaks for most players is closer to 24-25. After this, minimal gains in strength are more than offset by lost speed and explosiveness. This doesn't hold true for all players - some peak earlier and some peak later, but in general, players don't get much faster while they're in the league. Anquan Boldin probably can't run below a 5.0 40 yard dash anymore which is why concerns about Jarvis Landry's speed were a little overblown.
If you created a team out of the best college players across every school in the country, it would be way more athletic than any NFL team. It may still lose, but not because they were physically overwhelmed.

So is Nick Saban. Washington is too little. They will lose in the trenches on both sides of the ball and will wish they were back playing a team from the PAC-12 about midway through the 3rd QTR

People said the same thing about Utah in 2009. I traveled to New Orleans to watch that game and everyone was yelling at us "welcome to the SEC", "this is real football", "blah blah".Originally posted by Sims19849ers:Originally posted by sdaddy101269:Alabama needs to worry about the University of Washington! We beat them easily and were a Mt. West team. Not saying Washington will win, but I can't take sentiments like this seriously.
