SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS at CAROLINA PANTHERS - 2016 Week 2

Dont get it confused. The defense is noy bad. Theyve been on the field 60+ plays. They are tired as f**k. Gabberts 3 and outs and tebow passes are the story of this game. The defense keyed in on the run and eventually the >10 passes. If we had a qb that haf an arm, ya know one that has been in the super bowl before, our offense would look a lot more effective.

Kap time.

Look at Kaps stats passing vs the Panthers and rethink that.

Look at kap win percent against Car and rethink

Bench Blaine Gabbert!

Should never have been the starter

Will you call for Kap to be benched after 2 games starting?
Guess I'll watch this Rams/Seahawks game. Just watched Keenum throw one to nowhere.
For thosr calling for Kap to play.

His last games vs the Panters.

Week 10 2013:

11/22 passing. 50% completion rate, 91 yards. Zero TD's, 1 int.

Playoffs 2013:

15/28 passing. 53.6% completion rate. 196 yards. 1 TD 0 int.

Just not that bad

The turning point was coming out in the 3rd with the ball and playing soft

I think everyone knew we were getting stomped by Carolina...

Theres a reason we are projected to have the #1 overall pick in next years draft.
Not scoring on the first drive. Reasers INt drop. Vance drop. No calls.
Averaging 27.5 points per game so suck it. Baby steps.

You're playing one of the premiere QB's in the NFL with one of the top OL's in the NFL. Did all the teams they blew out of the water have s**tty CB's too? This team put 31 points on Seattle in a half in the playoffs. They blew Arizona out of the water as well.
This.

People act as if we were playing the Browns.

To be fair that team last year has pro Bowl corners and a healthy Stewart at running back and didn't turn the ball over 4 times.

Rams might not win, but they'll win the physical battle. Cawks gonna be beat up worse than us when we meet up next week.
I'm encouraged. We put up some points against a very good defense, on a short week, going all the way across the country.

Despite the failings of the offense, 27 points should be more than enough to win a game.

From what I saw. This game is on Gabbert. We had so many opportunities but he keeps on botching em. At this point we should look towards Kaps way.

And I'd be completely with you if I thought that would any sort of real difference. Kaepernick isn't any more accurate than Gabbert and I don't see him making those throws that Gabbert missed either. Similar issues between both QB's in terms of their accuracy, throwing high or low, struggling to get the ball to where the receiver can make a play on it.

I think against better defenses, the fans are going to have to ride it out and hope that the team chooses wisely in drafting a new quarterback.

Look at our defense holding them to 10 points in the playoffs.

This was a better showing than last year against Pittsburgh, it was a one-TD game with five minutes left.

Still a brutal loss though. Going to be a lot of growing pains this year for sure.

Everyone knew we were going to have inconsistency and growing pains this year.
