Just not that bad

The turning point was coming out in the 3rd with the ball and playing soft

I think everyone knew we were getting stomped by Carolina...

Theres a reason we are projected to have the #1 overall pick in next years draft.

Still don't think we're getting the #1 overall pick. Who legitimately thinks this? Browns will probably get it.
offensive playcalling immediately after half time has been atrocious

For thosr calling for Kap to play.

His last games vs the Panters.

Week 10 2013:

11/22 passing. 50% completion rate, 91 yards. Zero TD's, 1 int.

Playoffs 2013:

15/28 passing. 53.6% completion rate. 196 yards. 1 TD 0 int.

This is what you would get with Kap.
All out blitzed too much on crucial times.

This was a better showing than last year against Pittsburgh, it was a one-TD game with five minutes left.

Still a brutal loss though. Going to be a lot of growing pains this year for sure.

Well its the 2nd game and we were not going to go 16-0 anyway. Lets just hope Chip can make adjustments for the next game.

46 points bad and Carolina left some points on the field it could have gotten even uglier.

Bench Blaine Gabbert!

Should never have been the starter

If Kap wasn't hurt for like the past year gabbert would have never gotten a chance.

FTFY.

He was so hurt he couldn't see a wide open receiver right?
Do we really have to post it again?

From what I saw. This game is on Gabbert. We had so many opportunities but he keeps on botching em. At this point we should look towards Kaps way.

And I'd be completely with you if I thought that would any sort of real difference. Kaepernick isn't any more accurate than Gabbert and I don't see him making those throws that Gabbert missed either. Similar issues between both QB's in terms of their accuracy, throwing high or low, struggling to get the ball to where the receiver can make a play on it.

I think against better defenses, the fans are going to have to ride it out and hope that the team chooses wisely in drafting a new quarterback.

Yup!

Browns have 2 first round picks. They can get to #1 if they want to.

Happy overall but have some serious concerns about play calling, some personnel choices again, then pass rush then what we already knew...Gabbert's accuracy and drops and poor WR's.

I.e. Basically everything other than the Oline - which was spectacular pass blocking today - run not so much

I agree on all except the pass rush, we knew it was going to be lacking with Lynch on the sideline so I am not too surprised. Although I don't know how much difference Lynch would have made today.

I would also put some of the blame on the DBs but their WRs are HUGE.

I starting to wonder if all the new additions at WR mean they're still learning the play-book and they're just limited.

My guess is both. Some inaccuracy but naturally, lots of incorrect routes. We saw Kelly getting on them. I'm blown away by the number of drops too though. Absolutely killing us. 4 last game...how many today?

He sure as hell is. How can you even say that?

Who legitimately thinks this?

All of the pro football anaylsts and many mock drafts, as well as most pre-season rankings think this...

Your probably right though and they are wrong
