RIP ChipDouglas

Chip was a good dude. A good mod, but way more important than that, he seemed to be a dedicated father. I enjoyed the time I had with him talking shop, Jordans, and just general topics. I am just as shocked as you guys are. I think that a lot of us, myself included, take for granted the lives we live and the people we meet--regardless if it is in a digital medium or in "real life". Folks, it doesn't get much more real than this. All things considered, this is a special place. I have been fortunate enough to meet some very good people who are just like you and me. They are just here trying to escape life and talk 49er football. But along the way, something else happens.

We become friends. We care for one another.

He did love his Jordans. I remember him posting a picture in the parking lot and we joked about him having Michael Jackson Billie Jean shoes on.
