My first thought was "oh sh*t we're screwed for years to come". My second thought was "Ryan Leaf". Of coarse the answer wont be known for years but if the Lams end up w/ an All Pro we're in bad shape BUT if they end up w/ a Rick Mirer or the like THEY could really be f#%ked. What do you think?

these dicks also would take one of the top two anyway so we werent getting a QB either way at 7.

We are both screwed, they are screwed for giving up all those draft picks and no guaranteed success with their pick and we are screwed simply because we have Trent and Jed.

its gonna take the rams years to recover from not having the depth that comes from those picks they just traded away and theyll have to spend cap money to fill bodies as players leave every year. they may be good for a year or two but itll take its toll on them

I wasn't enamored with either QB, so this is just fine with me. You can draft a QB in round 2 or 3.

I do want Goff, but i don't think he's worth the 7th pick,

I feel like we could get something better at that pick, and take a QB later.

Re: Walsh drafting Rice. He did that after Montana had won two SBs and was needing new offensive weapons. Rice was added to a team that was already stacked with talent. Not the same scenario at all.

you can not wait till next year to address the defense in my opinion. you need a henchman for bowman , team badly needs a pass rusher and we need d line help especially with two guys not up to snuff due to injuries. a wide out with the number one pick would be beyond retarded in my opinion

Drafting a wide receiver when the QB doesn't have time to look up and see him? FUNNY.

Baalke is probably relieved. He gets to let the draft board play out and had a good excuse for not landing Goff/Wentz. He now gets to sit back at 7 and wait, or move back to acquire more picks.
