This. At least get Irvin or brooks or even Sean smith or freeman. All signed for reasonable deals. If they didn't want to come here then we could've offered them 1 million or 2 million extra and that would've most likely done it.

and its really obvious no body wanted to come here and coach(who was actually good) or players wanted to come here from FA. this whole ra ra about not spending is getting real old. the point is to sign a couple guys to bring vetern presence and we cannot get anyone. there is a dark cloud over this franchise and its called the yorks. baalke is an asshat who is not close to being a good GM. #thestruggleisreal #york/baalkearesiths #49ersnewraiders

To be correct, we can hypothesize about players not wanting to come here, baalke not wanting to pay them the new math wages...but realistically, NOBODY here knows for sure which it was. Guess i have to throw chip in there too, as a 3rd possibility, but before all of us, including myself start looking for a way to fire baalke for incompetence, it would be very helpful to know was this trent, was this the PR fiasco that has been the 49erfs for the last yr, and JEDO, you get top billiing there, old son.
