This. In a year where the draft is stacked with tackles, even more so after Shon Coleman declared, I really DGAF if they trade him for a giant Costco-sized box of Ritalin to keep Chip calm.

But if the 49ers have to outbid everyone for free agents to get them to play for Kelly that means they will be paying over market value. They will essentially be paying a premium to convince players to come here, in a salary cap league that is a problem.

So, why did the dude get rid of maclin, desean jackson, and lesean mccoy? Then he made that terrible trade for QB? (i have never thought much of Bradford). With a decent roster and solid QB, he may be pretty good.

Last year 49ers lost AND were pathetically BORING besides just flat out mailing it in some games. I'll settle for Kelly if it's still losing but at least interesting to halfway exciting and a team that doesn't quit.
