49ers fans are already good at that.

not in that place they are not. it has nothing to do with the teams performance in my opinion. its a different breed of fans at the new place as compared to the stick, eating sushi in luxury boxes and social media has become priority over the game

i do not think we have to worry about that.. i am pretty sure our impotent coaches will come through with a bad loss to a bad team at home
this whole thread is wrong

Well our owner is wrong in so many levels. The Faithful are reduced to this when we have this type of ownership.

I just cannot bring myself to root against the 49ers.

Ridiculous thread is ridiculous.

The 49ers already know what they want to do, this game doesn't change that.
Gurley might not play because on a foot injury
I don't think the answers reflect why people are rooting for the Rams. I imagine a lot of us just want better draft picks even if Tomsula remains the coach. I've been in that boat all year.

Don't include the faithful, we will never root against the 9ers

Maybe you can include the whiners

You sound more faithful to Jed York then the actual 49ers.
I miss being able to back and forth with some of my favorites here..... I sincerely do.

I was "challenged" in whether or not I wanted the Rams to win those last games when Spags was still our coach. But I tell you what, when those Horns came on the field, I was all IN 100% for the WIN: no matter our coach.

I never root against MY team.

There is simply no legit reason why we as fans should want to see a win.

Pros:
We win a game vs a division rival
Team pride
FU St Louis that's why

Cons:
We drop probably from 5 to 9 in the draft with one of the best contingency prospects just tearing his ACL(Jaylon Smith)
We can pretty much say bye bye to the top two QB prospects in the draft
We don't knock St Louis out of the playoffs
We don't improve our standing in the division(still 4th place)
We possibly give Tomsula and the coaching staff life in the eyes of the owners which would be a HUGE no no.

The cons outweigh the pros by a mile. There is a set of top prospects who can help this team and if we win the game we may be picking after all of them are off the board

Goff, Lynch, Tunsil, Stanley, Bosa, Nkemdiche, Ramsey, VH3....that's 8. And of course with Nkemdiche's weed issue and Jaylon Smith and Myles Jack being hurt that would put us in a very tough spot at #9.

If we lose we're sitting at #5 at worst and that puts us in much better position not only in the first round but we'd be picking even earlier in the 2nd and 3rd rounds.
