Guys it's not a rebuild, but a reload. I takes a few years to reload.....

I probably will regardless because we won't be a playoff team next year and we could use another high draft pick. If we bring in a coach I like, I'll want us to win just enough games for him not to be fired though.

I'll still cheer the team, but I'll be fully numb to a loss. I feel like even if we lost 62-3, they'd still keep JT for some ridiculous reason.

This is kind of where I'm at. Before losses would piss me off and have an impact on me. Now if we win? Awesome. If we lose? Oh well. I already know we suck.
But I will never specifically root for another team to beat the 49ers.

if our owner had a shred of self awareness a loss to the rams would probably help get tomsula fired. well, if he had a shred of self awareness it'd already be a done deal. jed won't fire him, we already know this.

LOLOL.
He's also undefeated coaching in the first game following a coach firing.
Tomsula was once 2-0 all time, guys. Not even Harbaugh had such a monster start.
Yeah, and the total of those 2 games (last game in 2010, and 1st game of 2015) his score was 58 - 10. Oh how the times have changed!!!

This could be the most boring game in NFL history.
But yeah, we need to lose. I jate tos ay it, but Tomsula has to go and this is the only way it might happen. If we win Jed will call that momentum for next year.

There is no way my brain can compute hoping for the opposition to win.
Thankfully I won't have to as the rams will win anyway (despite hayne's 1st career TD on a 2&goal from the 5yd line)
Even with my relative NFL inexperience even I know that a 4-12 HC usually gets fired, but for some reason I just don't think they will. They should though

The lowest we can pick is 8 (there can be at most 8 5 loss teams unless there's a tie in the Jags game in which case we'd pick at worst 7th).
Still would much rather lose the game and pick 5th than win the game and pick 8th even if Tomsula remains the coach.
Amen brother.

I'm eagerly awaiting for what our cheesedick, cheapskate, backstabbing coward of an owner has to say when he finally address his accountability for this disaster after the season is over like he promised. Then again, he'll probably have one of his underling future fall guys leak something to the press. He's such a twunt.

No, lower. That is why when a team has a top 3 pick, people say they have a "very high" draft pick , not a "very low" draft pick.

Go Niners!
And by Go Niners I mean lose this meaningless game to better your chances for next year. I do not want the Niners to lose this game to hurt the Niners, I want them to lose to help give them better options for next year.
