True. I stay up all night Sundays to watch games, so yeah Sunday kinda blurs into Monday morning during football season!

No ONE should ever root against his team. Win, Lose or Draw if it's really YOUR team, it's like family and in this case you just hope for the best.

Getting a higher draft pick doesn't guarantee that your team will greatly improve next year. Consider the source, who's picking, coaching and the number of missing pieces and you can see that this franchise is in total disarray. ONE great draft pick is NOT going to over take the Seahawks and or the Cardinals.

The Rams are only a QB away from being really competitive in the division and bear in mind that as of this year ... they own the Seahawks.

However, I can see the 49er's winning this game solely because it's the last game and it's at home. The big motivational speech will be saving the HC and in a bigger sense the players who are on the fringe of being out of a job. So, I can see them going all out to save themselves if nothing else.

But even with a great pick, I can't see the 49er's competing for the division title any time soon.

there is more to this game than just the draft pick, if we win and look like a team, our owner is dumb enough to keep tomsula. i want to lose and lose big on sunday both for the draft pick and a near guaranty that tomsula will be gone and we can get a real coach in here. a meaningless win to get us to 5-11 is not worth suffering through another year with tomsula bumbling around with this coaching thing going way over his head
