Correct about the homers, but the hate mob is angry and vicious and belittling towards anybody not on their side. There's a difference. lol

It works both ways.

When tomsula was hired all of us who said we were doomed and questioned it were jumped on big time for being "negative" lol. Sounds like the homers are just too sensitive

Doomsdayers and people that are negative are something totally different than the angry-hater mob. lol

I dgaf about tomsula being fired. I don't think it's happening. I just want a loss so we can either select a qb top 5 or trade down for a ransom

Even if we lose, I still don't think they fire Tomsula. I also refuse to root for another team against mine. However it works out is how it works out.

First time in my life I am cheering against the team I have been obsessed with since I was a 4 year old kid in the Haystack. I HATE this front office and coaching staff. So, so much. WE NEED CHANGE. Its so depressing to think we will go into next season with the same s**t. No hope.

If Jed fires Tomsula he will give fans a lot of hope. That he can put his ego or whatever aside. That there may be some hope in the future. Won't happen though

Sadly, I do want the team to lose, since winning might leave a positive feeling (like the lame lucky win the team had in Chicago, which lead to positive outflows from Jed and his mom) that will lead the ownership to erroneously believe that the team and Tomsula are headed in the right direction.
Secondly, there is no denying that winning will leave the team's draft position at an undesirable level and since the season is wasted and the team in the short term has no chance of being good or respectable, its better for them to simply lose to secure a better draft pick or a collection of picks, so that they get to winning and the SB sooner. There is no point being stuck in mediocrity. One player makes a difference and if that player exists in this draft (assuming the GM can find them), I'd much rather find that player.

I agree w/ your statement. Although I think they need to fire Baalke too. He has clearly proven that he has no eye for talent in the offensive side of the ball and he has limited ability to pick early round talents. Lastly, I'm all for contrarian thinking, but he has proven that the way he does his contrarian thinking in the early rounds has been flawed and has been disastrous. He has to go.
