You're right but, I don't think anyone here is suggesting this solely because the team sucks. The manner in which the team went from being a powerhouse to absolute garbage happened because of an inept, cheap, egotistic owner not because the parody in the NFL.

I think just because you have season tix and feel fine about it doesn't mean you have to like Jed but thats your prerogative. The CEO has created a culture of leaks, embarrassing as hell really. He has made stupid hire after stupid hire while a ballerina team president could have known to hire Harbaugh.

I'm not telling you to act childish, I'm not even one of the people that said don't go to the game. I know how expensive the tickets and SBLs are. What I was agreeing with was not giving them anymore money. IE not spending money while you're there. Things need to change with the organization, and it very much starts with the ownership.

I'm all for making Levis Stadium a ghost town but why limit it only to niner games? Extend your boycott to all events held there. Niners only play 10 games including preseason. The Yorks main asset is the stadium which has replaced the team as the crown jewel of their corp.

I have two $6k PSLs. That money is already spent.

I do have a choice on how I want to spend additional money, as well as the considerable time and effort on attending the games. I will continue to purchase each year's tickets because not doing so forfeits my PSLs. I could choose to sell my PSLs, but that would likely be at a loss, and I don't need the money so I will hold onto this asset.

Because I have a choice on how I spend my time and money (or in this case, to recoup already spent money by selling tickets) that is what I will do as I don't feel the need to expend the effort (and money) to attend games where I am not getting a decent product in return. No additional revenue streams from parking, food/bev and merchandise from my wallet to Jed's. If that makes a statement to the current regime all the better. For me, every year I come into it with an open mind however.

Making this decision has nothing to do with being a good fan. I will still root for the team, watch them whenever humanly possible, and be on this forum daily. No one should say PSL owners are better fans because they spent money on the licenses. Similarly those of us deciding how to spend or not spend their money on future games deserve the same consideration.
