I've rooted for this team consistently since 1992. I've traveled across the country to watch them play meaningless games (vs Detroit in 2009 when both teams were eliminated from playoff contention). That's not fairweather. It's sending a message to ownership saying we're fed up.

And for those who say that Detroit or Cleveland haven't boycotted, clearly you haven't seen when Detroit fans put bags on their heads during the 0-16 campaign.

It's not about having a "down year". If you think this whole situation is just a "down year", you're in for a rude awakening over the next several years. This team is broken at the top and it all trickles down.

And yeah for those who think we will magically turn this around next year, you're fooling yourselves. The only way this gets turned around is if Jed gets a real football mind in here, a real talented HC and Staff, and gets the f out of football operations, as he has no clue how to run a team, he may know how to run a business, but as far as running a successful football team, hell no.

And if we don't attract a top HC, or keep Tomsula, all that cap room we have, may just not be used, just like Jacksonville has done each year. We're already over the spending limit for the 4 year period, so we don't need to spent more than the minimum, which is draft picks, and re-sign low end guys. And I doubt we can attract a high priced FA here.

And yet you said months ago we wouldn't see a dropoff from Harbaugh coached team, but it looks like we have a team coached like we had in 2010 with Singletary.

You need to get off your high horse, not everyone who disagrees with ownership is not a faithful, I love this team, and players, but I have a deep hatred for the staff, GM and Owner.

It's not about stomping feet or anything like that--it's about accepting reality. You're an admitted optimist, right? Even an optimist can say "this team's issues are deep seated and it's going to be a long long time to be good again with the toxic culture, lack of football IQ, whispering, and cheap back-stabbing this front office is employing; but it happens and I still love them". Instead, you just deny reality by saying things like "we're in a low period with young players". That's not true at all, even if you're being positive.

The mass exodus of this offseason was quite literally unprecedented in professional sports. One beat writer even said in his 35 years covering the league he's never seen anything like it. Yet, you brushed it aside, said Tomsula would rally young, talent and the team would win like 11 friggin games.

Sorry man, but that's just pathetic to me. You can support the team and chose to not belly ache, but actively dismissing what's really going on and admonishing those who can see the situation realistically is absurd.

You go to the games there??? I went once it's terrible, the new fans suck. That stadium was a slap in the face to the fans. That's why Eddie d would have never took the team there. I would go if we were a good team. But just cause I watch from my TV doesn't mean I don't support our team
