BTW, I anticipate being blown up. I'm ok with that.

It can turn around very quickly if you have a quality HC and QB. Need to rebuild the OL as well.
It's not an easy task, but it's one that can be accomplished in a short amount of time if the right moves are made. More teams fail than succeed at this.

Agreed! I think we have enough quality starters in place to build around.

AA, Tartt, Lynch, and Ward are a solid group of guys, but that's a thin bunch. Bowman and Reid are good. Our CBs have some potential, but all these guys need to stick to a single system. This coaching carousel isn't going to help anything.
On offense there's not much to like. Hyde is the only young player to get excited about. With a shortly Oline and instability at QB, we're a long way from competing.

No Pass Rush. Aline that can't block in either part of the game, a QB who has kindergarden reading level but ya we have talent just need a coach. We are missing like the 3 most important pieces in football.

We have talent but the way it's used is terrible.

You guys act like we weren't 12-4 with this exact same setup. No pass rush? Where was the pass rush in 2013 when Aldon missed most of the year? Kaep? Same guy. O-line? Hell, that can be fixed. Last year our D was the 3rd best in football. How is it much different from player standpoint? I understand the gloom. Hell, I'm feeling it myself big time. But this fail is on coaching. My biggest fear is that they don't recognize that. My biggest fear is this regime blows up the roster and gives Tomsula 1 or 2 more years.

Maybe. If you got a good coach like Jim Harbaugh and then... Wait... Oh yeah, Jed just FIRED a good coach ... And it WAS Jim Harbaugh!

Um, the defense is totally different. How many starters remain from last year? How many pro bowlers left? "12-4 with same exact setup" LOL. Put the pipe down my man, this team is NOT Harbaugh's 49ers. Not even close.

Exact same setup??? We're missing our best defensive lineman by far (Smith), our three best linebackers (Willis, Smith, and Bowman - Bowman is not the same player he was pre-injury), and our two best corners (Cully and Cox). Our defense was 10th in scoring last year and 5th in yards (was 3rd in scoring in 2013 when everyone was healthy). The only good players we have left are Lynch (equivalent to 2013 Brooks) and Bowman, but Bowman hasn't been himself. If you don't think that losing almost all of our best players on defense matters, there's no hope for you.
This defense is not talented at all and the offense has never been that good. In 2012, we had a near perfect offense minus the QB position and we finished 11th in yards and scoring. It's time to blow up the roster.

THIS
Tank should be a 4-3 edge rusher
What happened to Brandon Thomas at LG?
AA should be starting in lieu of any d line. The d line are not getting the push needed
Tarrt and acker show some good promise
Ward and Reid are solid
But we don't have any offensive talent besides Staley and Boone. (who is misused terribly) We need to rebuild that offense from scratch.
