Is There a disconnect or change with fans

People complaining about the stadium again. IF you don't like it and you live in San Francisco or close to it, you should have done a better job getting them to stay there. I was born and raised in Santa Clara and even I would have preferred them to stay where they are from. No more blaming the stadium, nor the Yorks for wanting to move, if you owned the team all of you would have done the same thing. San Francisco dropped the ball--the consequences of that are something all of us will have to live with.

It really pisses me off to see fans in other cities (even Seattle) knowing this stuff while the bulk of our fans make us look clueless.

I won't be so sure on that

Levi's has been open for an 8-8 season and a soon to be 4-5 win 2015 season, and it doesnt help that it's overpriced and there have been many moral dropping decisions as well. I've been at Candlestick many times when the 49ers were struggling and there were a lot of empty orange seats and no energy at all.

I have been a 49er season ticket holder for 21 years, including the 2 at Levi's and here are my honest thoughts.......

• No, the "average fan" has NOT been priced out of the new stadium. I MYSELF, am the average fan. That is a cop out response from people who have no idea what they are talking about. My tickets are 5 dollars cheaper at Levi's than they were at Candlestick. Are average fans priced out of the $80,000 seats? Sure. But that doesn't mean they are priced out of the stadium. My seat license was $2,000 and you have the ability to pay that off over 10 years. IMO, the price complaint is incredibly overblown and untrue.
• The noise level at Levi's has been down, but we haven't had a good team. During the down years at Candlestick, the noise level was down too. Even in the first game of the new stadium against the Bears, there wasn't a substantial difference between the noise level then versus Candlestick. Wait until the year there is finally a playoff game at Levi's. It will absolutely be as loud.
• My only complaint about the stadium is it not being in San Francisco. However, I am not too versed on the issues our team was facing with the city, so I cannot even comment on how much our ownership is to blame for that. From what I read, it was more the city than the ownership.

Anyway, those the thoughts from a longtime season ticket holder.

Candlestick was the worst stadium in sports and was filled with opposing teams' fans all the time.

The Santa Clara games have been rocking, but the team has such a bad offensive line and receiving corps that it sucks the atmosphere out of the crowd.

the prices on stubhub are like 65 bucks, i might catch a game this year since prices are decent

New city, more expensive seats. The locals of San Fran were the back bone of the team. You move the team, of course the attendance dynamics will shift based on proximity, and price your clientele will change.

Taking the 49ers from San Francisco and placing them in a new city I would filly expect those fans to not have ownership as much as before.

If they moved the cowboys to San antonio, you'd see the same thing...
