Do people not realize this? All this talk of how bad Tomsula is, and no talk of the talent he has to work with. When we were successful, look at the talent we had. 9 probowlers and 2 all pros. How many of those probowlers are left? How many all pros that haven't suffered catastrophic knee injuries or retired? My opinion is that unfortunately we are a team in rebuilding. We have guys like Pears, Devey, and Martin as our starting olinemen. It may not be pretty but our staff is working with what we got. Our Dline is nothing of the past. No Cowboy, no Aldon. Our MLBs are Wilhoute and a guy that can barely move. Secondary is some scrubs with potential. Now let's get into our coaching staff. A rookie head coach with not a lot of in game experience. A new OC with the same. We have a defense that has played well at time, but then look lost. Could this be because of a new DC, and new players at top positions? I just think the overreactions and expectations are unfair. I don't think people look at the whole picture and understand where we are at. We are a young team with a lot of holes. We are a young team with a lot of pieces but nothing compared to playoff teams. To expect this team not to suck at times is only kidding yourselves. We have shown good, we have shown bad, but in all reality we are only looking at a skeleton. Lower your expectations and enjoy the season. Understand the sutuation we are in and instead of getting so frustrated show a little patience. This team may suck at times, but there are ample reasons.

If we beat the Giants we would basically be tied for first in the division.

One or two boneheaded plays. Our how about our offense being out of sync against AZ? Our offense has taken 2 steps forward. Still needs work.

The best team doesn't always win, we need to get in the Division fight and see what happens. That being said, we are getting a top 5 pick

Any given Sunday, dude.

Almost half the teams that won the SB these past 15 yrs were not SB caliber. There's enough parity in this league that all it takes it getting hot at the right time. We may not be good in the league, but we're 2 behind Zona for the west. And their schedule is about to get a lot tougher.

That Arz game was such a disaster it bled into the GB game which we coulda won if our Offense wasn't still shell shocked. Honestly after the ARZ game, I'm not thinking about the Superbowl, just want us to try every game and keep it exciting. Low expectations from here on out.

I say tempered expectations. This team could rattle off a couple in a row, but with our lack of talent in key positions , it will be tough. We still have to many pieces trying to fit the puzzle.

It's funny how more players make the pro bowl when they are winning.

Reid , Bowman, Staley , Bethea, VD will probably not make it this year with this loser coaching staff

At home in a statement game trying to prove there's a new sheriff in town. Happened to us at Seattle in 2013, at St Louis in 1999, at Atlanta in 1998, at Carolina in 1995.

Lots of teams like to "dethrone" us; it happens when you're a legacy franchise like the 49ers. Lets see what happens when they come to Levi's.

VD is a shell of himself. He was worthless last year under Harbaugh.

Bowman would still be all pro it if still healthy.

Bethea is still a solid player.

Staley needs help. Him and Boone are still solid players
